Warpfire Minis — Attraction in Ocala

I swung by this place while traveling for the holidays and am so happy I chose to do so. This place is way bigger than it looks and is what you picture when you close your eyes and think of what a Wargaming Hobby store should look like.

They have hundreds of kits and kits for every faction for several different games. Some pretty rare that I have trouble finding on eBay. A room of second hand minis for sale varying from painting contest placers to half primed battle line units on the cheap Paints, tools, bases, and everything else you'd need to get more into the art side of the hobby Bunches of Open tables with hand-painted terrain that are just open for use. The staff and regulars were super friendly and it's a very open and inviting place They had random bits for sale as well as just a junk pile but you could dig through for fun.

This place is amazing and the prices were fantastic. I will be coming back whenever I'm driving...

I'm a fortunate man. I travel a lot. When I travel I always try to stop-in to the local non-GW-owned 40K retailer. I've see some pretty good shops in Seattle. I've seen one pretty good shop in Jackson, MS.

This shop is so amazing that it demotes Second Place to Fourth Place. It's huge. If there is a GW product currently for sale that's not inventoried in triplicate here, I couldn't find it. VERY respectable paint selection from more than three brands.

And FREEBLADES!!! One of the best indy mini companies out there and they have a WALL full of those minis.

Terrific culture. Everybody on the staff I interacted with is somebody I'd want working for me. Kudos, kudos, kudos.

The people here are amazing. I know they have just opened to the public, but for the entirety ofy experience, they have been nothing but stellar. They support the community and the players.

The employees themselves will make themselves available for a game so you know you can always have a good time. They are proficient in the game and know a thing or two about it. They are great players too

The people here have earned my loyalty and my business. Which for me is rare. This is the only shop i have visited to do that.

I have great hopes, and I believe this place will be a pillar for table top wargaming in this community and I wish the absolute best for them. I hope they continue to be stellar...
