Ocala Skatepark — Attraction in Ocala

The park would be great if we had better parks and recs running the situation. They treat it like a prison, they only built half of the park and use money for more pointless things instead of finishing the design. A park is a place we are supposed to feel free not trapped and controlled like we are prisoners and harassed by parks and red because it’s the most used facility in ocala and there isn’t enough parking or skate area. We need a bigger parking lot because parks and recreation was ticketing skaters for parking in grass because they didn’t make the arts center parking big enough so on events it leaves us no where to park. Low end. Want to be beach area. I walked thru and observed teens smoking pot. Bathrooms a mess. No parents in site. The other day I observed a city official alone in his car. 1030 am . He was parked directly facing Bathrooms. I walked up to car, he was not eating or having coffee. He was just staring at Bathrooms. I have his plates and pictures. Just another area where negligent parents dump Ocala teens to run a muck...

My kids love this place. Finely a place to take my kids to get away and get to skate without getting in trouble trying to have fun.
