Art A La Carte Gallery — Attraction in Occoquan

I absolutely love this little gallery. I stopped in to look around and saw a plethora of interesting and unique pieces, some of which had a delightfully twisted edge to them in a still very charming way. Also the people who were working there were just a delight, one of them actually being one of the artists who I had a very interesting conversation with where she showed me some pictures of pieces she had made for other things and we discussed a shared interest in dark folklore. I even managed to find and purchase this charming Christmas ornament featuring one of my favorite holiday Icons. I definitely plan on stopping by...

A friend and I came in not expecting to buy anything, lo and behold we ended up buying six prints by Jackie Liedl. Each print was of a different place in Northern Virginia and there was definitely a large enough selection that anyone who has lived in Northern Virginia could find a place that they recognize. We will definitely have return in the future to see what new works Jack Liedl and the other gifted artist at Art A La Carte Gallery...
