The Axelrod production of Elton John & Tim Rice's AIDA, directed and choreographed by Luis Salgado, will rival any production you've seen on Broadway at half the price or better, with none of the commuting hassles. Anita Welch as Aida casts her spell not only over Radames, but indeed, over the entire audience from her first few moments on the stage; we are all enthralled throughout her entire performance. She is beautiful, captivating, and convincing as Aida. Her acting skills, whether joyous or saddened, angry and defiant or coy and loving, are second to none; and her singing voice is magnificent. Ace Young as Radames is equally excellent in his singing and acting not to mention as handsome and dashing as one could hope a young captain would be. A little further back and you won't get blinded by the ceiling spots and perhaps the sound will be more clear. Enjoy; it's...
Read moreA cool theater to see a show, it was our first time here to see Fiddler on the roof and it was a very good entertaining show enjoyed from kids to seniors. However booking tickets I was directed to StubHub and when I went to the the usher to be seated she noticed that my tickets didn't give a seat # and said that I had to go to the box office where they noticed that my tickets stated that I was in the balcony which there is not one it's a smaller theater. I was advised that to contact StubHub and let them know and to dispute what I paid for the tickets they stated that I was over charged by at least $20.00 something dollars for 2 tickets so just check other sites before you commit to the purchase that it's the best deal you can get, why pay more...
