We really wanted to like this place and gave it three chances—dine-in, takeout, and delivery. We tried a variety of dishes, including salads, pastas, and fish. Unfortunately, we found the food to be overpriced and lacking in quality. While the service was excellent and the ambiance pleasant, the main focus—food—fell short. Several pasta dishes were overcooked and bland, and the salads lacked flavor as well. Key ingredients like salt were noticeably absent, and the pesto didn’t taste fresh. TERRIBLE!! Food was tasteless, bugs flying all over us (even went in the water) stuck a table of two into a tiny corner with no room for the food despite restaurant being empty. Then we figured we would take the food to go, so the waitress brought us boxes and told us to do it ourselves! Mind you the bill was north of $175 for a table of 2! Without any exaggeration, this is one of the best, kosher Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Tevere in the city was my old favorite restaurant and this is a lot better. This is the real deal.
