Yalla Grill — Restaurant in Ocean Township

This place is delicious! I went here on vacation after looking for a kosher place nearby. I went with one other person and we shared some chicken tenders, a smash burger and Israeli salad. Everything was great- I do think the burger would have been better had we eaten it there instead of take out but the flavors in it were so on point (schug and pickles among other elements). I’m still thinking about the chicken tenders!

We went on a Sunday evening and it did take a while to get our food- they were very busy, so if you are in a rush order ahead. I wasn’t bothered because I wasn’t in a rush, and I could see them making everything fresh to order so sometimes that can take longer.

We were wanting to go to a family friendly and delicious place to eat after a fun beach day. Leo’s was the perfect place for this. The menu was small but everything looked great and we all easily ordered, food came out quick, bathrooms were clean, it was a very friendly atmosphere and everything we tasted was bursting with flavor. I don’t know where to begin that wouldn’t involve a short novel but suffice to say Yalla Grill felt and tasted like home. Staff was lovely and food tasted like being in my Ema’s kitchen—you can tell it was made with so much love. Incredible selection on menu, Glatt Kosher, vegetarian friendly.
