Cavender's Boot City — Attraction in Odessa

Tonight I had a pretty terrible experience this location. It’s way too much to type on here but I have already written a long letter for their corporate office. The staff is rude and I don’t know if I’d say lazy but inattentive to say the least. I got there at 7 and no one was worried about anything except getting the store ready to close at 9. I spent almost $700 in the store without one person asking me if I needed help in any form. As far as to very obviously observe me struggling to get something or figure something out a couple times. One of the employees was just blatantly rude. Well not rude… I’d say disrespectful. There is a whole lot to this story and it won’t fit on Google but I nor my close friends will be going to this location ever again. It sucks because you never know what someone’s going thru and instead of laughing at me or looking at me like I was beneath you you could have offered a hand for my first time making myself go shop In a retail store. The store I chose cuz it’s my fav. (I suffer from extreme social anxiety and have had some health issues) my bf has been trying go to get me out and back in places by myself… anyways I choose this store where the deal was I had to stay there till I spent $500 (and I could only get k e pair of boots lol) well due to my medical conditions and I’m sure the anxiety I was profusely sweating and I know I liked nervous so I can understand it partly… hey it’s Odessa…. And here I am putting HUNDREDS of dollars of stuff up on the counter to hold while I shopped. But instead of maybe investigating or just asking me if I needed help finding something anything like that I was met with snide laughter and disgusted looks. There is a lot more but that’s the gist. I usually buy all my cowboy hats and jeans at Cavender's so being a loyal customer I believed that I could call them anytime if I needed help with anything regarding boots and hats but boy was I completely wrong! The girl answers and acted rude and unprofessional, absolutely no courtesy, it's like it was a bother to help me. I just had a question about getting my foot measured for a cowboy boot and the boot guy was not knowledgeable at all and didn't care to help me find a solution or answer to my question. In the end all he said to me was go to a foot locker or try stretching the boots! I couldn't get my foot in the boot to begin with! I wear a 7D in Military boots and Work boots but cowboy boots sizes are different. I just needed some help and good customer service but I received absolutely nothing! I never treat my present or past customers this way I strive to give them the best Customer service so we can continue doing business together. It's packed during the xhristmas season and they were low on products. Made a trip over there for a hat they said they had. Traveled 57 miles for nothing. The box was empty and was told that hat had been missing for a while. They also need to carry western boots in wide width for men and women. Not everyone has the same width foot. You only get told to go online and see if they carry them on the online store. Oh and I couldn't find anyone to help. Finally found somebody and she said she would be right back and then 30 min later Still at the hat counter waiting for her she was somewhere else helping another customer.
