Dog park — Attraction in Odessa

Was nice to find this location in Odessa while visiting. Two Dog run areas, one for large breeds and the other for smaller breeds. Operated by the local parks department. Could use some attention and maintenance, would be a five star. Water hydrant on large dog side works occasionally, hydrant on smal dog side is non functioning. I really hope the parks department keeps this park sprayed for sand burrs and goat head stickers. Hard to find a place in this area where dogs can walk without a paw full...

Would be a whole lot better if people would pick up after their dogs when they go potty. But, to do so you pretty much have to bring your own waste bags because they don't usually have any. Not very clean, there was a good bit of trash and broken glass in a few places. Did not seem like a lot of people who go there clean up after their animals.
