I ordered loaded tiny tacos, large fry, and a root beer. I was told to pull up to lane two to wait for my food which would usually be fine. One girl xamayacox brought out my food. I know she didn’t even realize I didn’t get the drink cause when I walked in to get it the manager Eva was telling her what to take and which car to take it to. I got my root beer and went back to my car only to realize the box I thought were my loaded tiny tacos were actually a box of fries. I took it inside along with my receipt and was irritated at this point because I only have a thirty minute lunch and this is what I’m dealing with? I told them about the loaded tiny tacos. I also mentioned I don’t want the ones that have just been sitting in that box where I previously saw the food being put for people for drive thru. So Eva got my tiny tacos made but I was watching and they didn’t put anything on it. So I told the manager it’s loaded tiny tacos not plain and she proceeds to try to say “no it’s just tacos” and I told her no it’s loaded why try and argue so I show her my receipt and she ended up making the loaded tiny tacos like I paid for. One of the employees told me it’s cause the cook doesn’t speak English. Okay then why the heck isn’t Eva helping her then was my response. Like I told xamayacox it isn’t your fault but if the drive thru was overflowing I’d understand. But the fact the manager wants to try to argue with me about what I paid for and have an attitude and try to get me to accept old ones is infuriating. The car next to me even had to go back inside (lane 1) cause something was forgotten. Yet Eva wants to try to blame her employee who was the only person I conversed with who was actually respectful (xamayacox) for messing up my order? I think not. As a manager (which I am) you take accountability and apologize and just fix it. Her unprofessionalism and lack of support for her team is beyond me. If y’all have a lot of turn over in that company at this location I can see exactly why. Also she didn’t even give me my receipt back. So now I can’t get my points. But I refuse to go back inside and deal with her. I will no longer be coming to this location. I’m sorry to the employees that have to deal with her especially when you need more support understanding what you need to make and she...
Read moreA Jack in the Box is a Jack in the Box, but sometimes as in any fast food franchises, there can be notable instances in performance and food quality. My experience yesterday at this location was hands down phenomenal! The food was molten hot and fresh. I tried the new Deadpool promoted Mini Chimi(s) and needless to say, I ordered more than I originally intended. A trial order for a snack easily became a reordered meal with a full order of Tiny Tacos that went just as good. For the first time in 2 decades I experienced crisp taco shells and (once more) molten filling. I was never that guy to order these after a night at the bar.
I am fortunate to speak Spanish and am able to simply switch the game if the English is too complex for the staff, but occasionally this may happen to a non Spanish speaking individual so beware, the staff can tend to greet you with a "Yack in Dee box" accent.
Their fountain is having service issues unable to stay pouring past what appears to be a metered children's portion at a time.
The staff was not fully understanding of the importance of a wet floor sign as a female mopped the bathroom corridor while leaving the signage exclusively at the front. The staff member that took my order was super sweet and all smiles but appeared to be babysitting on the job. She was attentive with a small delay needing to leave the child to attend to her counter duties.
The iced coffee here is something special as they go wonderfully over board with the flavoring pumps by standard producing deliciously smooth chocolate milk-like mochas and bold vanilla. I personally mix both to get a balanced and rich treat.
The property is always nice and clean, and hardly busy to dine-in (another point of attraction of...
Read moreWell, vfew days ago I stopped at the Jack in The Box on University and West County Road in Odessa, Tx. I go there (I do have other locations I can go) to order my favorite breakfast Crosant. (# 21) Well, that I decided to order thru the window. And the "gentleman" that took my order was a bit unusually (in my opinion) whike taking my order. When I made it to the window and pay for my meal. He asked me to move forward and wait. So I did. Then few minutes later (Not too long at all) he brought my food. So I thank him. Yhen I moved forward and park to eat my crossant. Then I realized that I had the wrong order. At the same time I observed the "gentleman" delivering food to another customer in the parking lot. I rushed to him and let him know I had the wrong order. Immediately we switched bags and I got my order. As I proceeded to go back to my car he said; (Out of the blue) "You don’t need to yield at me whe you're ordering". I replied: What are you talking about? He replied: "Yes you didn't only yielded at me but you been yielding to the ladies as well". I said; Are you knots!! I've been here many, many, many times. And, I get alo g with the ladies just fi ne. No one has EVER said anything to me about screaming my orders thru the intercom cause I always go in place my order and sit at a table to enjoy my food. To summarize. That young man has no idea on how to trear a customer. Even if it was true that I was streaming my orders thru the intercom. He nees to get some...
