Surplus City Inc. — Attraction in Old Lycoming Township

This place gets me every time. I'll go in for one thing ...then I leave with 10+ items. The prices here are unbelievable...it's my go to store. Alot like harbor freight, but what one doesn't have the other will. I had so many questions and needed help with the project I was working on at home. At first I was very hesitant to ask for help bc ...well...who isn't ya know? Don't wanna bother anyone while their busy but anyways I walked over to the female that was working there and my goodness did she help me in every way possible. I THINK her name was Janet....not sure. But she is good at what she does, and she is more than willing to help you if you need it....

I love this place! The smell alone takes me back to my childhood! Smells like my Dad's garage! My mind immediately goes back to watching him work on someone's car! Mind you this was back in the 70s! They usually have the odd ball stuff I am looking for and some times I go in just to see what I can find to get into! We did buy a 100ft roll of thick grade plastic once to make a slip and slide for the kids to go down the big hill in our yard! Best slip n slide ever! Had our friends bring their kids and a garden hose! We had enough hose to run it up the hill for the kids and adults 😉. Ya never know what you'll...

This is kinda your local hardware store, they have everything you could need and more! I love going here to find that odd commodity you might not find else where. They have everything from tools, pets, heating, plumbing, paint, nail, screws, nuts and bolts galore, crafting and fabrics you name it, they got it and even more. Love this place, if you been you know what I mean and if you haven’t you should check it out at least once. Then you’ll understand what I’m saying about ALL THE STUFF THEY...
