This “1 star” is going to have to do since I couldn’t give 0! The Oldsmar manager, Aaron was the only one in the office when we 1st went in to upgrade 2 of our 4 phones. He ordered them and said to come back when they were received. During this 1st visit, not only did he have us sitting at his desk and being in mid conversation, he decided to yell over us to help 3 other customers while stopping helping us. The next day we decided to go back to go ahead and order the 2 remaining phones. This time around Trevor (who was training Damon) helped us tremendously! Not only did he give us all options (which Aaron did not) he actually paid attention to us with our needs and questions. We would have gone with the better iPhone 15 options but couldn’t wait longer for the original phones ordered (no options were provided, Aaron only gave us the basic). We returned a few days later to pick up our new phones and Trevor greeted us by name while the manager just asked why we were there. Trevor did the transfers on the 2 phones he had ordered for us plus 2 watches. The other 2 phones were to be done by Aaron but he was too busy discussing food options with a “customer”. Trevor stayed over passed his shift to keep assisting us. Another employee, Ryan( which was his 1st day at this office) came over to relieve Trevor and finish helping with the final phone. There was an issue where Aaron was needed to call to get the phone activated and put them on speaker and announced all of our information loudly while other customers were around. Ryan then was able to finish with us and asked multiple times if everything was completed earlier with the trade ins and Aaron confirmed not once but twice. We were there for about 3hrs!! Since then, Aaron has called 2x to say we didn’t trade in a phone and sign a paper. All of which he had confirmed was done while we were there. I was previously with Sprint for 19yrs and now with Verizon for 2. I obviously show loyalty and would not stay with Verizon had it not been for the excellent personalized customer service from Trevor (with the additional service from Damon and Ryan)!    Read moreFirst and foremost, they have a false 4.9 star rating because they pressure customers into leaving reviews while standing in the store prior to transactions being complete and prior to customers figuring out errors. They are sales focused, not plan or customer focused, nor are they organized enough to do things properly. I did a large purchase back in May with multiple devices and plan upgrades and since then it has been a totally dysfunctional plan with countless errors resulting in far larger bills than promised. After multiple trips back and forth to the location with an infant, staying after hours and spending hours at a time with these people while they guessed their way through the process only to discover that the entire plan was done incorrectly and had to be fixed by BIG Verizon I am baffled at how this location gets away with it. In addition, when I shared my frustration it was partnered with absolute arrogance from the location manager Nick who was condescending and rude about the fact that he gave me a free screen protector (that I did not ask for) as if that screen protector was to excuse the countless errors, waisted time and trips back and forth? Thanks, but no. I recently had a friend go to this location with an equally as frustrating experience so it goes to show that it didn’t end with me. But the biggest RED flag is that they are not a corporate Verizon store so their hands are tied with many aspects of your phone plan and after they screw up, you will have to chase Verizon around to clean up their mess. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere that knows what they are doing, are organized and customer focused rather than making a quick sale. I am a 73 year old woman on fixed income who knows vircully nothing about modern day things related to cell phones, internet , etc! and they spent hours with me making sure I had every possible thinking I could possibly need and afford. Then Trevor took the time to load everything and make sure yet was working teach me all needed to know to have wonderful experiences in the future and backed up all of my things on my old phone and assuring me that I could return anytime help was needed or if I had any questions at all! He was so patient with me and it was a wonderful experience for me. You truly have top of the line employees in that store in Oldmar. And I am so glad that I switched from spectrum to Verizon I had been with 3 other top companies and after this experience with Verizon I can assure you I won’t be switching again! I am truly happy with the whole experience and feel I was treated in the best way possible and have the finest equipment for an amazing price!
