Giving a 2 Star only because my son had fun with his friends, but the treatment by the staff was terrible. For a birthday party that you spend over $800 for, you would expect a lot more. Unfortunately, they know that choices are limited in Omaha, so they don't care. Below is a review from a birthday party. (Read the Review, but ultimately GO ANYWHERE ELSE)
We had my son's birthday at Urban Air and were really excited for it as we've used many other party/event facilities and were looking forward to trying this place out. When we first arrived a staff member greeted us and directed us to our private party room. It seemed to go Ok at first and we were more occupied with my son's excitement to really care about anything else at the time. From my understanding we paid extra for a private room and for a private host, which we were told when we booked the party, we would be able to just sit back and enjoy the event as they would take care of everything for us. Well, I spent so much time chasing down our host to get bands, drinks and other things needed. We also did our own serving and clean-up just so we could get through the party time, do the cake and open the presents. There were many times that we looked for our host, but he was busy working parties at tables, doing their set up, refreshments, food and so on, so it's nice we paid for our host to work for another group. So based on this we knew we didn't have a "Private" host. After the party was over and we were taking care of the bill, we asked the manager, who was very rude, what was the duties of our host and weren't we supposed to get a "Private" host. She laughed and said, they are they to make sure we have a party and only assist if we ask for help otherwise, they stay back. She also stated that there is no such thing as a "Private" host, even if you pay for one, you never actually get one as their policy is that all party hosts are "Shared" hosts, and they never give a "Private" host. So, based on her description, it appears that the hosts are only there to give you wrist bands, give you food, drinks and socks, but really nothing else. In addition, our host was so preoccupied that our party was coming to a close and we could not find him or anyone to help and all of our guests started to leave at the designated time, and since we couldn't find our host, we never received the scratch-off cards that are supposed to be party gifts for our guests. So, it's pretty annoying to spend over $800 on a party and really get terrible service, unprofessional/rude treatment by management and what seems to be one of the biggest rip-offs for having a kid's party. Final thoughts on this. If you love being treated with disrespect, talked down to and also paying a lot of money to be treated terribly, go here. Otherwise, we suggest go anywhere else, and I mean...
Read moreTo begin with the end, we have cancelled our membership and will not likely return for any reason. We have had a membership at Urban Air for more than a year. We have had numerous visits where we have always enjoyed a fun time on the different attractions. Although I don’t especially enjoy the pizza, the kids seem to love it. For the most part the facility seemed to be a clean as one could expect an indoor playground to be.
More recently in December, 2024, we had a visit that blew me away and left me looking for a new indoor playground. Our visit was on a Sunday afternoon when we took our girls (7 & 5) for an afternoon visit. We arrived a little before 4pm. There were several birthday parties that were occurring at that time. Unfortunately, one of the children present that day vomited while attempting to come out of the tube playground. She got sick in 2 separate locations as she was walking out. Because I was standing by the entrance watching my children, I helped this girl to a trash can while another parent went looking for the girl’s mother. There was a staff member present in the playground area and we alerted her to the situation. The staff member seemed to struggle with some sympathetic nausea but did call for assistance on her radio. Additionally, a parent or two looked to engage the 6 staff members standing over by the concessions area.
There was no immediate response from staff. The piles of vomit were unfortunately stepped in by several children running past and tracked further into the play area. Once the sick child was taken by her mother, I collected my own children and moved them to the bumper cars. It took a fair amount of time before the staff finally announced the closure of the tube playground. Later during our visit, I walked past the entrance to the playground and observed that no attempt had been made to clean up the vomit and the smell of it pervaded the area. People were eating at tables less than 15 feet away.
While it is completely reasonable to expect that children eating pizza and then running around and bouncing will eventually lead to someone getting sick, I was blown away by the lack of action on the part of the staff. The reaction to the situation was handled without any care, and 30 minutes later when we left, the vomit was still on the floor. I have no idea how much was tracked through the playground and around the facility, but all of this could have been avoided had the staff acted in a timely and appropriate manner. When I contacted Urban Air about the incident, I received no response.
After this experience, we decided to cancel our monthly membership and find another indoor...
Read moreUrban Air Adventure Park your Millard location managers can’t identify their GM to provide it to their customers to further escalate their concerns.
*WE VISIT THE LOCATION REGULARLY AND THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO PLAY IN THE JUNGLE GYM
Managers: Mike and CJ harassed my children and I for their height requirement to allow my 50 inch 9 year old child to play in the jungle gym. Their height requirement is 52 inches, CJ approached me in an unprofessional manner while I was sitting in the jungle gym playing with my toddler, she was calling me “love”… to which I asked her to stop calling me that and identify herself, she advised me to remove myself from the premises or be removed. Once I removed my children from the jungle gym area I headed toward s the front desk where I spoke to this gentleman in the video who’s name unfortunately I could not recall but declined to provide the general managers name and CJ the manager told him to not give it to me. Tough guy Mike then approached me and while I asked him to de escalate his conversation he refused and made comments like “if a cop stops you are you gonna say oh look officer they’re speeding too” which was irrelevant to the situation 🙃 Mike declined to provide a business card or email address or any information to further escalate my concerns, after all the lost time, humiliation and embarrassment Mike wrote down the GMs name with the store phone number. After this experience I’d never recommend this place. We have a membership and now the thought of returning is uncomfortable.
