I love this park. Nothing fancy but it provides a great getaway to nature in a very urban area. A nice pond that is aerated to keep it healthy. It does have a covered pavilion that can be reserved. The park is also on the Lake Zorinsky trail loop making it a nice walk or bike ride. It has a ton of walnut trees and from what I can tell you can pick up the walnuts on the ground. Read moreJohn Johns Jacobson here, per as usual, to tell you my thoughts feelings and opinions. Something about Johnny here is that he loves a good walkabout that feels fun and exciting. Walnut Grove Park is for the most part those things, expansive and nature like. There is a lot of fun to be had here. Unfortunately it does need some picking up and maybe a new coat of paint on all the buildings, but that’s not what Johnny here was coming for.
