Lotus By Hotel Inn — Attraction in Ontario

I wish I could give zero stars.

The people here are weird. I spend a ton of time in hotel rooms and I'm telling you, this is the strangest place I've stopped with red flags everywhere!

For one, it's posted bold and proud that they reserved the right to inspect the rooms AT ANY TIME. That could be awkward..

They also charge pet fees for service animals - which is illegal.

He handed me a room key through the slot in the glass and told me to go inspect the room and ok it before he checked me in.. he also told me I didn't have a choice of rooms.. the place wasn't nice..

I just left when he told me I needed to pay extra for a legit service animal. They weren't legitimate enough, nice enough, or normal enough to go any further with it.

Any comment on here that says it was a good place to stay must be the management trying to keep there own ratings up. This place is horrible the ceiling has water damage the cooler would not cool the room down no clean toiletry. Asked for a new room and they gave me one. Walked in the new room the light switch was broken and could not turn the lights on one of the beds was missing a blanket. Went down stairs to ask for a refund they refused to give one. Still currently fighting with them for a refund. Ended up saying at the motel 6 down they way...

Quite possibly the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The ac sounded ragged and never warmed the room. The TV didn't get a clear signal on any of the 5 channels that it had. The water in the toilet would keep running unless messed with the handle. Right next to the road so it wasn't quite. I cannot express how gross and run down this place is. The receptionists tried to give me a choice between the two rooms but the first room that he showed me had not been clean and it looked like the people had not checked out yet.
