every commercial or ad i have ever seen for arrons has made it out like it’s so simple and easy! so far from the truth… we were told info over the phone on everything we’d have to do to receive our washer and dryer then day of when they told us the time they’d deliver it to us (which was several days after the 5-7 business days) we called when the time they were supposed to be here passed to then be told we have to come to the store and show proof of residency, etc…. so frustrating because that was never mentioned to us days before! the lady we kept getting on the phone told us the things we needed to complete and that stuff was not included. finally it’s delivered and i don’t think the guy knew what he was doing. he turned it on to show us it works then hours later we get home to water all around that area.. my husband checks out the tubes connected for the water and the one that takes the dirty water out was barely connected… calling tmrw to hopefully get things fixed. will never purchase anything from arrons again. this is in...

If I could give this location less than one star, I would. I find the Opelika Store in Opelika, AL to be exceptionally unprofessional. Per my online purchase, I have been waiting for the arrival of my order. The website states that my order had arrived in store and that:

"Your local Aaron's store will contact you to schedule delivery at your convenience"

I received a call from the store telling me I need to come to the location and basically apply for the furniture that I had already ordered online.

If I had wanted an in store purchasing experience, I would have gone into the local store from the beginning, I wanted the convenience of ordering online. The local Aaron's told me that they are a franchise and they do things differently. The only thing I see that they offer is poor customer service, which is not a good look for your company.

I don't wish to do business with that location and I need to cancel my order and my lease agreement.

I have never done business with this entity, nor will I. Then why the rating? To strongly advise against it. The GM, John Coleman, called me out of the blue, looking for my daughter-in-law, who apparently had an account at one time. He said he’d seen that she married my son. I explained that they don’t live with me, and I only see them occasionally, but agreed to pass on the message to call him. The next day, Mr. Coleman came to my home, on the pretext of looking for the daughter-in-law I’d already told him did not live with me. He invaded my privacy, disturbing my family’s peace, although we’ve never been customers and never gave him even tacit permission to contact us. When I called to ask why he had taken such egregious liberty, he neither took the call nor returned it.
