The Steak Factory — Local services in Opelika

Usually a great place and we use to get our cuts and meat from this place. My wife and her mother asked if lobster can get shipped in, and Tony said yes, just let them know when. Which we thought was cool cause we traditionally have this for Christmas Eve and we know it's difficult to get this around here.

Then, this week my wife and mother in law requested the lobster he was extremely rude saying "Oh, we don't have a clientele of rich people like you." Usually it's never like that..but this time it was extremely rude and disrespectful. Totally out of character. Then he kept going on acting like they were privileged people...saying that "You girls look like you always gets what you want".

My family and in-laws use to go there almost weekly. I highly don't recommend going to this place anymore..apparently you have to make less than a certain income.

The blatant disrespect to my family is not tolerated and we will no longer support...

Excellent & Local. Fresh Cut means it isn't cut til you ask for it. You have not only a variety of cuts of meat to choose from such as New York Strip or Ribeye, but you get to choose how thick you want your steak! He even has "demo steaks" on display as examples. Very friendly and helpful. The steaks we cooked were delicious! He even sold us some meaty treats...

Excellent meat. Tony is a very nice butcher who knows his cuts and very friendly. Wish we had found him earlier. We got 4 ribeye steaks, some breakfast chops and his ground sausage patties. All are excellent in flavor and the cuts are perfect. We will be back on a weekly basis for our meat requirements. Thank you and we'll...
