Sea View Theatre — Attraction in Orcas Island

The place is nice but when comes to movies when you have to wait each time 30 or 40 minutes to actually start watching movie is the most ridiculous thing I witnessed. Explanation that people who comes late want to have their chance to get popcorn is totally ridiculous. When you go to Ferry you have to be there half hour earlier and all knows that and all respect it , Ferry will not wait for you and if you will not get your cup of coffee from the store cuz you was late , that’s your fault. You go to opera or cinema in any other place and there are the same simple rules . Be on time !! was twice in this cinema , movie should start at 8 but it didn’t till 8;40 ! I think I have enough and from now . Will wait for DVD and watch...

Cute small theater, and a great way to experience the culture of the Island in a unique way! There is only one screen, which limits the amount of movies, however it only adds to the charm! During off season they hold community engagement meetings, which are very well put together and a fantastic way to learn more about the area....

Love this little theatre. Besides movies, Seaview has brought in some incredible events. Comedy shows, Burlesque, Musicals, SeaDoc Documentaries, Magic shows, and most recently a Wednesday night dance club! It’s epic, it’s amazing.
