Update Sep 2019: The new playground is great. The dirt pile in the basketball court is gone. I'm glad they've kept the trees, some other recently renovated playgrounds have taken the trees out and it's super sad and waaay too hot. Not here, lots of trees here. They are renovating the tennis courts and parking lot now. I'm not sure what they are up to, but I really hope they keep the trees. Bumped up from three to four stars. I hope the construction doesn't take long.
Update May 15 2018: They've finally started installing the new playground and it looks awesome. See picture.
As of May 1 2018 there is no playground. It was removed last fall and they haven't managed to get the new one in yet.
I haven't been in the bathrooms for a while, but they've never had soap before, though they are otherwise well kept.
There's a nice, open field where they have soccer practices.
There are two tennis courts and a pavilion and a basketball hoop. The pavement by the basketball hoop has a big pile of dirt on it right now.
Between the tennis courts and the pavilion is some nice shady grass with lots of trees.
So, there are a lot of amenities in this park. It's a great park. Five stars, except for the bit about the playground being missing right now. We'll see what they put in. I expect it will be a very good playground when they are done, but they are certainly taking their...
Read moreWonderful park. After visiting, it made me want to focus my current UT county housing search on the Bonneville area. There are Paddleball courts with low fences, complete with adequate spotlight illumination at night. There is a great selection of new, interesting playground equipment for the little ones, a field for the four legged friends to exercise in, a pavilion with charcoal grills and a restroom facility that is currently (12/05/2020) closed for the season. Also there is a paved track circumnavigation the premises. The s'mores were tasty, the playground pristine and the company courteous and friendly. The only stationary camera I noticed was on the North-East side of the...
Read moreOrem city has done some amazing upgrades since I was here last. The playground is really cool and has shade sails. My kids really liked it. They also converted one of the tennis courts to two pickle ball courts and increased seating around the courts.
We came on a pretty blustery day, but there were still folks out enjoying themselves playing pickleball.
The park has basketball hoops, a large playground with slides and swings, a couple of pavilions, a large grass field, one tennis court, 2 pickleball courts, bathrooms (open seasonally), parking lot for space of about 20 cars.
Bathrooms and drinking fountains...
