Del Taco — Restaurant in Orem

I ordered the Del Cheeseburger at 2:30 am due to working graveyard shifts. I noticed that the burger was really dry and cold, so I went back through the drive thru to see if I could get a new one. As soon as I told the manager, she said she didn't believe that I had just come through and just assumed that I wanted a free burger. Even after I handed her the full burger and the receipt, she still said she didn't believe that it was cold because she went on and on about how her cook that night was the best and wouldn't serve a cold burger. I began filming her and she kept saying that her cook wouldn't do that and that I was a liar. I asked her at least 20 times for her district managers phone number and she wouldn't give it to me. She also said that it was almost 3 in the morning and that the food wouldn't be the same as if I came during the day. I asked why the food wouldn't be the same even though they are open 24/7 and she just explained that it's not the same because there isn't as many people. Her cook then pointed out that I was filming her. She then offered the new burger and asked if I wanted a free drink with it too. I just kept asking for her manager's number, but she just kept asking if I wanted free stuff, and said the manager didn't need to get involved. Yes it was late at night which in my mind makes this even worse than one star!! First there was nobody in line and I don't speak fluent Spanish but enough to get along and the only person on the other end of my order actully got short with me because when I ordered seasoned beef and no sour cream on nachos she basically told me how she was willing to make MY nachos which ultimately were the way she wanted them and I have been to 6 other del taco restaurants and from the first #7 2 STREET FISH TACOS. I was in love!!! Tonight's #7 was so revolting I have not 1 redeeming item of quality in the entire meal from the flat soda to the fish deep fried to a point beyond crispy in obviously much over due old oil to the under cooked fries soaked in old flavored oil NOT SURE IF I CAN EVER ORDER A #7 EVER AGAIN DISGUSTING BEYOND A FREE # ANYTHING THIS IS GOING TO SOUR MY OPINION OF DEL TACO AND EATING DEL TACO ANYTIME SOON IS VERY DOUBTFUL AND THIS STORE WITH THE TEMPERAMENTAL SPANISH ONLY SPEAKING EMPLOYEE HAS RUINED ALL THE GOOD TACOS I HAVE EVER GOTTEN FROM DEL TACO

I HONESTLY DONT WANT FREE ANYTHING WHAT I WOULD RATHER HAVE IS THIS OLD DEEP FRIED OIL TASTE TO BE SURGICALLY REMOVED FROM MY MEMORY AND MY TASTEBUDS THAT HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY RUINED TOOTHPASTE CANNOT WASH THIS HORRIBLE HAUNTED FLAVOR HOUSE OF TERROR FROM MY MEMORIES OR THE TASTE...

Honestly I am so disappointed in this place. It’s the only place thats open 24 hours on this side of town. Or should I say “open 24 hours”? I work graveyards and a lot of people from my work depend on del taco for food for our lunch time at 3am. On Monday morning at about 3am me and my co worker went to de taco and sat at the speaker for three minutes before we finally said “helllllllo..... helllllllo...” No one ever responded so we drove by the window and seen a girl sitting there and not paying any attention and didn’t have her headset on. We drove around the building slowly hoping maybe she’d notice a car in the lot and decided to try again. Same thing happened, AGAIN.Dont advertise that you’re open 24 hours when clearly you’re not. Either that or the workers don’t give two craps. When I’ve gone at the same time before something is always “being cleaner” or “broken” so there’s always something they “can’t make”
