Fernando is my all-time favorite hairstylist/ colorist. Not only, is he talented but he is an amazing human too. I had my first haircut with him in 2005, then I moved to the west coast. When I knew I was moving back to FL I had to track him down lol! I ended up moving to Boca, which is quite a drive. But we make it a day trip each time, my husband, my son, and I are all getting our hair done by Fernando. People make fun of me when I tell them I drive 3 hours one way to see my hairdresser, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s so rare to find someone who truly gets it. I’ve been to many salons over the years, I lived in Paris, Milan, and all over the US but I have to say he is the best. Whether I have a particular request or I just don’t know what to do with my hair and give him creative freedom, I always leave feeling like a million bucks. What makes Fernando exceptional is his technical ability combined with an eye for beauty. He is an artist in the true sense, and hair is his medium - he can cut all hair types and will know how to bring the best out of your natural beauty. I hadn't had my hair cut in years due to the pandemic, a new baby with grabby hands, and nursing school. I came in with a thick curtain of hair down to my waist. I suffered from constant headaches from always having it up in clips and buns and the weight gave me migraines. I have been going to Fernando for 7 years and was long overdue for his magic. Now that I'm graduating from school and my daughter is old enough to not grab my hair, I was so happy to be able to be fit in just in time for my ceremony.

I left the salon feeling so much lighter. Fernando was able to keep the illusion of length as I requested but also add in a ton of layers that helped add texture, movement, volume, and cut off the weight so that my hair didn't feel so heavy. Where do I begin. Fernando was referred to me by a very close friend who assured me that I would love him and I absolutely do! I had been growing out my grey for a little over a year and needed to make a decision to either follow that course or color it all. Fernando took the time to give me options and although he loved the grey I was growing out, I made the choice to color it all and he was 100% on board. We chose a color and a highlight and a shorter style that complimented my age and skin tone perfectly.
