Dartmouth Park — Attraction in Orlando

An excellent neighborhood park.

It's about the size of a city block and has four distinct areas.

One is a small grassy area closest to Edgewater drive.

The second is the park itself with a "big" kid play set with swings and a “toddler” area with swings. There is also a covered picnic area.

The third area has trees, picnic tables (covered and not) and the fourth an open field that is often used for tots soccer practice.

You'll find picnic tables and water fountains (for dogs, too!).

You won't find restrooms. The closest would be either Starbucks or Publix 2 blocks away.

Dartmouth is a popular kid birthday party destination. I’ve seen pizzas delivered for such occasions.

For walking / exercise - anytime is good as the lighting is quite good. There are 2 workout areas (one for sit ups and another for step ups).

The playground is not lit well so play is best during daylight...

An adorable little park. We stopped over here while waiting to meet up with family for lunch. It takes up the central area of a neighborhood and it's got plenty of parallel street parking. They have a small play area with mulch and in the middle of that is a covered table.

It also has a sidewalk that goes around the perimeter and offers exercise obstacles every so often to add an element of cardio and strength training to your work out, if you're interested. It had a good amount of tree coverage offering shade during the hot part of the day. It was pretty quiet when we were there and our little had fun exploring.

Overall: A+ Nice park with easy access and a good trail around. Can't wait to take her again and let her explore more...

Dartmouth Park is a great place to spend the day with family and friends. The large playground has a variety of equipment, including slides and swings, that will keep kids entertained for hours. The park also has two pavilions and many mature trees, providing plenty of shade on hot days. The wheelchair accessible entrance and parking lot make it easy for everyone to enjoy the park.
