Trotters Park — Attraction in Orlando

Nice space but the ground is a bit overrun with ants as well as unidentified flying insects. Bathrooms were in very poor upkeep and places very far away from the more highly trafficked area of the park. The sports fields seemed to be in good repair, but no games were going on while I was there so I could not really tell if the fields were overly loose/sandy or full of ants. The city has let this field deteriorate and has failed to expand it where they should. They placed bathrooms as far away as possible from parking and the fields without a gate at the nearest point, so you have to back track in order to go around the fence. Poorly managed. 2 stars because the new club using the soccer fields seem to be doing things to improve the quality of the grass and have better signage letting you know...

Trotters Park is where the old Ben White raceway used to be. They repurposed the horse track into baseball and soccer fields. The only thing wrong with that is they are completely locked up unless you are in a league. The are being used a lot though and it does keep them nice.
