Olympits Rims Repair — Local services in Orlando

Mauricio with olympits offered cylinder head service. I brought work to them 2 different times. Both times I asked for a full overhaul of the cylinder head. First head was given back to me without any valve work done. Seats weren't re-cut, tolerances for valve lash were wrong even though they specifically asked for and I provided a cam card. Called and complained, was told to bring it back so they could make it right. They destroyed all of the valves they "adjusted" by putting them to what appeared to be a bench grinder based on the grit cut pattern. None of the valve heads were level when I received the head back. I had to replace all the valves and take the parts to a different shop to get repaired properly. I brought them another set of heads a couple years later after complaining on the phone about poor service that were to be fully serviced. They sand blasted the inside of the heads and didn't clean it out or polish the cam journals after blasting. The valve lash was not set (again). They destroyed the camshafts by hammering holes in a surface where a seal rides. Avoid this shop if you value the part you need serviced, they will happily...

Originally called ahead of time as I live far got specifically asked them if they could fix 3 piece work wheels . They said yes . I told them the barrel was bent and bad he still told me yes he could fix it . I asked him how much he told me $100-$150 at most depending on how bad it is and it would take anywhere from 1 hr to 1 full day . I drove 45 mins to the shop, and when I went to drop them off to him he then changed his price to $300 and would take a week to fix . (Mind you it’s NOT even $300 for a BRAND NEW barrel)

So of course I don’t do business with con artists.

False advertising is illegal .

Stick to the price originally given . I will make sure all my people in the car community know to stay away from this shop and take their business to some place else .

Shame on them for being liars , con artists.

Although if you like being lied to and like to waste your time driving to them for them to change up the moment they see you. This will be a great place for you !

I had a horrible experience here, the owner lied to me multiple times and damaged my car. If you care about your vehicle, do not bring it here there are plenty of better shops nearby.

I was told to pickup my car by 6 PM, after dropping it off at 8 AM. I received a call from the owner later that afternoon saying “the rim is being painted and it looks good”.

Fast forward a few hours, I get another call from the owner saying “he can’t remove my rim due to a wheel lock”, meaning he lied to me earlier and they hadn’t even started working on it, the car sat there all day at their sketchy shop.

Here’s where it gets good... I go to pickup the car and there’s a nail in the tire, I didn’t drop it off that way obviously. I wish I was making this up. The owner lied to me and damamged my car, I know karma has my back but I’ll also be taking legal action. They also scratched my lug nuts trying to rip...
