Today I went to this Walmart and I was surprised of how the employees treated customers not just me. I was shopping for some products must needed by myself my elderly mother and my aunt. At the time I picked the wipes and sprays there were no signs that indicated there was a limit. Regardless, of limit I was shopping for 3 household not just me. When I went to the self checked out, a cashier approached me and told I was not allowed to take home more than one of each either. I explained that I was shopping for myself, mother and my aunt who stayed in the care due to the rain. The "Cashier" without saying anything else to me jumped on my shopping cart and took out the extra items. I asked her why she was touching my stuff without even asking me first. I could had called my family to come into the store so that she could pay for their own things. This woman was so rude to me I decided to go to the regular cashier to pay and to give my family time to come into the store. While I was waiting for them I saw the rude cashier followed me to the next cashier to tell them not to let me take the items. But, that was not all then this other employee again put her hands inside my cart searching for the "wipes and sprays" and without saying a word she took the other two items I was saving for my mother and my aunt. I tried to explain that these items were going to be purchase by my family members that were coming into the store as soon as the rain stop. To my surprise this lady was even more rude and unprofessional than the first one. She ignored me and just took the wipes and spray leaving me with just one. This employees acted as gangster. There is no customer services what so ever at this store. Did I mentioned that I am a senior citizen although I perhaps don't look my age but I am. These employees had an agenda and I would not put it pass me if they had plans to buy these items for themselves. I do understand the limit policy but when I explained to them that I had other people in my car who I was shopping for due to their ages and because it was raining we decided it was best for them to stay in the car. The right thing to do was to allow me to wait for them to come and buy the items themselves.
I have never been more humiliated than today. I felt that I was treated as a common criminal and not as a decent citizen that I am or a human being who has rights.
I hope there is a video and a manager can look for themselves how these employee acted today. They need to be train in how to treat customers. I felt like not buy anything from this store but like I said I was shopping for elderly people who can't be going out from store to to store and...
Read moreI couldn't find what i was looking for, but I'm leaving this review because i want everyone to know that walmart was more helpful than home depot!
I needed to buy clips for my job. I wanted something strong enough to hold large thick paper, and lots of them at a time. An adhesive backing would be nice, but if I could drill it into the wall, I'd be fine with that.
First off, the internet doesn't know the difference between "clip" and "hook".
Anyway, I first tried home depot cause it was close to my home. Walked all over that place several times. I'm not someone who goes into home depot regularly, so I will say that place is very hard to navigate for those who don't frequent there. I asked the first employee where I could find clips.. any clips! Bulldog clips if I had to, since I had bought some at a home depot before so I thought they should have some. The first employee just pointed to like aisle 13 or 14, don't remember which, and said they "might" be down there. There was just hooks.... and other things you might like to hang things from. Not clips. I had seen on the website that there might be bulldog clips and clips for holding tarps together... but what aisle? I know not. So I asked a second employee... she pointed to another aisle, didn't bother to walk with me to make sure I found what I wanted.. not like the nice lady at hobby lobby the day before who walked me to 2 different places she thought we might find clips, didn't find them there either. Both employees at home depot weren't all that friendly either... it seems like whenever I go into a home depot I'm made feel like I'm inconvenient. I work retail, I get it.. but come on guys!
So I gave up with home depot. And went to this Walmart. I went to the areas where I thought clips could be, but couldn't find what I needed. I like to try and look for things before asking.. waste a lot of time doing that, but what can I say, I don't like interacting with people unless I have to. I found the first employee in the area and asked him where any clips might be. We were already in the area where they might be, so he took the time to check his inventory system to see if anything else came up.. again nothing. But at least I knew I wasn't missing something and he was very friendly to boot! We had a laugh about him being more helpful than home depot and I left, disappointed again, but happy. So good job walmart!
Oh, in case anyone was interested.. I found my clips at office depot. Still not what I was looking for, but I...
Read moreNormally, I would not give Sebastian Walmart a five star rating specifically across of their garden department and they didn’t water their plants and they let them die and everything looks weathered and horrible horrible horrible horrible but I guess the amount of complaints or they realize that if they gave it a little water, they’d make more money so what they had done was they installed misters and sprinklers overhead sprinklers I was so impressed when I went out there and they were going and all the plants looked healthy so they got a five star ready for the people that are very nice. The Sebastian Walmart is making positive changes. Walmart has raised their prices. Their prices are going up right away, but I gave five stars because the garden department. They’re finally taken care of it and finally taken notice. Walmart in Sebastian Florida. I don’t know about the other Walmart’s adding misters and overhead sprinklers. I’ve been them and they still have the large section of dead and dying plans for not being watered. The sabastian Walmart which I thought was horrible letting all the plants die. For almost an entire year. Eight or nine months I would go to Sebastian Walmart at 10 o’clock at night go to the garden department and water the plants. the hose right there and water the plants and then leave. Maybe buy one or two. I did that for eight months, they never caught on that was out there watering their plant. Or maybe they didn’t care. At least somebody was watering the plants. Good to see that they put sprinklers out there . They’ve turned around good for them . Now when plants are put clearance if they’re there for a certain amount of time but still plan on clearance the plants have a chance at survival.
clearance looks lively and fresh opposed to a plant on clearance that looks dead and dying some more Clarence plants look gladly fresh than the ones are dead and dying there just mark those out and throw them in...
