Prairie Point Splash Park — Attraction in Oswego Township

Best splash pad around. Enclosed by a gate so the little ones can't make a break for it. There is one bathroom within the gated area as well as a few benches and a couple shade awnings. There are also bathrooms at the nearby picnic shelter. Expansive grassy area around the splash pad with skate park, basketball, volleyball and other as well as a big hill the kids love to run up. If you have young kids, this is the spot to be. The splash pad is poppin' from 8am to 8pm. There's a park at Prairie Point School that is just a football field away. We usually start at the splash pad, walk over to the park to play, then make our way back to the splash pad before leaving. A huge hill (used for sledding on the winter) is a great perk that we climb often. My daughter rented this facility for a birthday party and the park didn't open the splash pad as promised. Then, the office lied about contacting my daughter to tell her the splash pad would not be open! We provided our phone records showing that they never contacted her and they are still insisting they called. Bad customer service is one thing, blatant lying is another.
