10GYM — Attraction in Owasso

If you want your kids safe I would stay away from this gym. The kids are constantly getting hurt bc they are always understaffed and not supported what’s so ever in the kids area. The management knows it’s absolute chaos regularly in there and the response I get is horrific, I’ll list them:

“As a parent I would come at a less busier time”

I’m sorry are we suppose to call a head of time to make sure it’s okay to bring out kids?? Are the parents responsible in hiring more adequate people?? And “adequate” meaning girls who don’t bring their boyfriends into the kids area while they are working which happened at least twice with two different girls. One boyfriend was sitting in the corner of the room just taking a seat watching kids. Unacceptable. Horrifying to have witnessed this as a parent.

“We don’t have enough people applying”

“We don’t have enough people up front to come help in the kids area”

“As a parent if I see it busy I wouldn’t drop my kid off” per DHS

My favorite: “WE ARE NOT CONSIDERED A DAYCARE” per management, corporate, and DHS.

It’s really a sad and disgusting excuse to say to a parent who pays for this service and then gets gaslit asking for help, just because you aren’t a daycare makes it okay to have a unsafe place for kids?? So no one takes responsibility for what is going on in that building when some workers have 25-30 kids BY THEMSELVES that’s including BABIES. The only reason why this place is not investigated by DHS is because as mentioned above, they fall right outside of being considered an actual daycare. How do you provide a service to take care of children and let things like babies getting bit, slapped (mine was smacked across the face to where his head bounced), pushed, hit, bullied - just everything you can imagine - happen??? The girls in the kids care currently are wonderful but they aren’t supported and extremely under paid, (also is a high turn around area.)

Shameful. Shame on this place for not doing their due diligence in making sure providing babies and kids are well taken care of and safe, shame on the system such as DHS for not investigating this place.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Stay FAR away from this place especially if you have children. They pay child care employees next to nothing resulting in them not being able to keep any around or attracting people who should not be caring for children. I've been going here the last 4 years of the 50 people they've had in that daycare only 5 have been qualified to be around kids. Not to mention they will have up to 40 kids at a time in there with only ONE employee resulting in kids being hit or bit or hurt. Most recently they've hired an employee who showed my 5 year old dead animal photos on her phone and decided it was her place to discuss female anatomy with MY child. Do not waste your time and money they charge you for child care monthly but can't even provide it to you because of these issues. They can't even get child care employees to show up half the time as well as not even being able to give you a heads up when they can't get them in so it's literally roulette on weather you'll get child care or not. If you do receive child care you have to worry about your child being hurt or being exposed to things not age appropriate. Do better 10 gym be more considerate in your hiring process especially when it comes to children and pay more than 8 dollars an hour to keep the good ones around!

Hilarious you're unaware of any other concerns in your childcare?! Can you read sir? I'm sure you're taking my claims seriously I can tell by your fake 5 star reviews you're asking members to leave now. I hope no one falls for your BS PR saves 🙄 you have at least 4 reviews on here very concerning at that about how your childcare is ran. I have emailed you I've yet to hear back so save the fake "please reach out so we can talk". You clearly don't care about your business or memebers who have children. Embarrassing when you have an owner/manager wearing expensive watches at the front and driving a Lamborghini but you can't even pay daycare workers adequately to keep good ones around. Shameful really and you can save your gaslighting excuses as to picking better times to come. Maybe you should sit in that childcare for a day it's a circus 24/7 every day...

It's a good gym with a fair amount of equipment. But after going there a couple of times there is something very obvious missing that I have never seen a gym miss before. Fans, there is not a single fan in that place. Look at the images on Google. No ceiling fans, no floor fans, nothing. Now there might be one in that very back little room. But that's it. People go there to workout and are gonna get hot. The air is very still in that place and I know it hurts my workout from getting too hot. They need a serious upgrade in fans over the entire ceiling area. And some pedestal fans.

No fans would be one thing if it was actually cool in there, but it's not, and summer time is going to make it way worse.

Also, they just got new treadmills recently and you'll never guess what they did. For some reason beyond anything I can think of, all the new stuff they got only stays on for 30 minutes!! That's right of you want to go longer you'll have to wait for it to stop and then start it again. Why in earth would any gym think that's a good idea to go with?!?

Charge us all 1-2 more per month to get the fans. You could even lower that back down after. I bet it wouldn't take long to get the money for them that way. If not that, do something.

Update: The 3 fans they are talking about, there is one real big one in the back room with another smaller one. Then there is a little ground one in the side room that has the lights off. There are no fans in the big main area. I hope that thy do not think adding these little fans is going to be enough. That place is hot, and they need a pretty...
