Driving up to the school and being on this campus is almost unreal. The beauty of the buildings paired with the natural beauty of the trees and flowers and landscape grasses is so amazing. Do you want to live here all the time. The first time I came here was to drop my son off at school, and I was flabbergasted by the abundance of trees and beauty and amazing architecture, this is definitely one of the most beautiful campuses I’ve ever seen. The people are so friendly. It is spotless. I look forward to returning soon.

Beautiful campus. Great faculty. Respectful students. I had a great time in Oxford. The buildings are nice, following a similar facade, and the grounds are always in such great shape. They also take tailgating pretty seriously.

I really question whether anybody that says UM is racist/riot fueled has ever been a student here. I can personally attest to the acceptance and diversity of the school. I've liked most of my professors, and other students have been friendly. I can honestly say that I've learned a lot from my classes and have been presented a lot of opportunities to succeed. If anyone works hard to get here, Ole Miss has many teachers and programs to reward you for your effort. That's what I look for in a college.

We get bad press because we are in the South and it makes us an easy target for the media. They like to play off the stereotype that we are some backwards racists. Ask any student here about the "riot" and they'd probably laugh. I would challenge anyone to find a college that doesn't have any students that discriminate. At least here the administration and the student body openly call out...

I began college at the University of Oklahoma, but it didn’t take long to see that being so far from my home, family, and friends wasn’t for me.

Ultimately, I wound up at Ole Miss—immediately I knew I was at the right place. The small town, the square, the food, the people, the culture is an experience like no other. Once you’re there and a part of it, the style that is Ole Miss is undeniable.

I’m honored to have graduated from the University of Mississippi. Most importantly, I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the friendships, memories, and things we did and shared while gaining our educations as Ole Miss Rebels.

If you are considering schools in the South, visit Oxford, Mississippi. You won’t be...

Ole Miss is absolutely amazing! I love it for undergrad I am enjoying it for grad school and the advisors are one of a kind because they are actually invested in helping the students! I will say that as a commuter paying out of state tuition is not that great, if I can drive there daily I should be able to pay in state tuition. Also, it takes a while to get your financial aid, the office is always working and have people on task but if you can’t get into the office for some reason email, phone calls, and zooms as your secondary option takes much longer. As a parent, teacher, and full time student I rely heavily on my financial aid and each time it is just a hassle, I wish the process...
