Oxnard Beach State Park is truly a slice of coastal paradise. Nestled between Ventura and Malibu, this park offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, with its wide sandy beaches, lush greenery, and tranquil ocean views. From the moment you arrive, you feel a sense of calm as the cool sea breeze greets you and the sound of waves gently crashing fills the air.
The park is perfect for a relaxing day outdoors, whether you’re strolling along the well-maintained pathways, enjoying a picnic with friends and family, or simply sitting on one of the benches to take in the breathtaking views of the Pacific. The sand dunes and ice plant-covered landscapes create a beautiful, natural backdrop that makes every moment feel like a postcard.
What makes Oxnard Beach truly special is how uncrowded and peaceful it is. You can walk for miles along the beach, with palm trees swaying overhead, and not feel overwhelmed by crowds. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or solo adventurers looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The sunsets here are magical—watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting hues of gold and orange over the water, is an unforgettable experience.

Read moreWe come from past Santa Barbara and its always been very nice. One time a dumb guy was playing Soccer a long time ago was playing Soccer throughout the park luckily hit me and not kids he got upset after i told him to play on the grass what a dummy. Its usually very clean but on Sunday after sooo many months of not going i had to use the bathroom before we headed back home and the bathrooms were very bad even the mens bathroom from what my childrens father had said i didnt bother to use them from how disgusting they were. There was also paper towels all over the floors. Im not sure if homeless people messed them up but the last bathroom was over filled with water and had a bunch of paper in it i honestly feel sorry for the people who have to clean the bathrooms. Thats awful of people to do that if they had bad intentions. I would honestly give 5 Stars it usually is very nice and clean. Maybe some surveillance would help to show who is thrashing...

It’s a large play structure/area and not really a problem. This really is an...
