PG and so many sites are the most unique in the world...started walking the trails and climbing rocks and wading tide pools since 1952...when I was 8 years old.    Read moreI ended up sitting on a bench here for half an hour soaking up the serenity I feel any time I'm by the ocean. This was a great spot especially on such a beautiful day. I watched sea otters playing and feeding in the wave swells and batches of pelicans skimming the top of the ocean very close in. They came in groups of 5-8 pelicans from the eastern part of the bay and all totaled there must have been nearly fifty that flew by.    Read moreAnother beautiful space in a special place. Pacific Grove holds a very special place in my heart. Very easy to see how John Denver enjoyed flying his Long-EZ Kit plane above the crystal clear blue waters of the ever expansive Pacific Ocean and the setting sun over her.
