The views of the ocean here are excellent and there is plenty of parking along the road. Enjoy the sounds of the waves on the rocky natural coastline or take a moment to spot some shore birds, otters, or tide pool wildlife. There's a very well-maintained set of natural trails along the beach here leading to the shoreline and coves. Some areas have board walks and others have concrete staircases. The areas off the trails are protected so watch your step. Bikes are not allowed on this trail. Make sure your dogs are leashed.

Walking the Asilomar Trail was such an amazing experience. The views of the ocean and rocky coastline are just unreal, like something out of a postcard. The trail itself is super easy and relaxing, perfect for a casual walk. I loved hearing the waves crash while taking in the fresh ocean air. Every turn had another spot that made me want to stop and take a picture. It’s a peaceful place but also so inspiring at the same time. Honestly, it’s one of the most beautiful trails I’ve been on in California.

Love 💓 Love 💘 Love Asilomar. The Gazebo is my spot to sit, eat sushi and take in the tranquility. The natives are awesome and someone usually chats me up along their walk along the trail or sit break to take in the sights. Peaceful environment and folks mostly respect the space except for some younger individuals who ride their bikes on the trail and do not understand the danger this poses for individuals trying to gauge their moves and escape from harm.

I live in SoCal and we have some of the world"s most beautiful beaches, Hermosa, Newport, Luguna, Malibu, but the beach a Asilomar was the most beautiful and amazing beach that I have ever seen hands down. Pristine, majestic, awe-inspiring and so peaceful. No one is playing loud music or any music. The only song you"ll hear belongs to the mighty Ocean artfully crashing upon the rocks ever displaying a breath taking new screen, ever creating a malodic new song. I left part of my soul on the sands of this...
