Gorgeous beach with beautiful waves, especially on a sunny day. It's a very long beach as well, so if you ever want to perform the cliche "walk along the beach", this is one of the best places to do so. Keep in mind that the water is cold and NorCal doesn't get much sun. It's not a typical beach day under the sun.
I knocked off one star because there aren't any garbage or recycling bins. Also, parking can be a hassle. There's a small parking lot next to a restaurant on a hill, but other than that, good luck finding an empty parking space.

The beaches are clean and free of garbage. Traffic even on weekends seems minimal. No backups or delays. Because of the angles along the CA coastline, this is where you can catch the rare view of the sun actually setting into the ocean.
I don't know how to describe this amazing place. I guess I have seen some of the most memorable sunsets, on some of the most memorable evenings, of my life. Don't take my word for it, go make your own memories at this spectacular Pacific Ocean viewpoint.
