I just left this business and have to tell you, they put a good face until they get your money. I took in a receiver and computer and told the manager exactly what was wrong with them He charged me the normal diagnose charge and then took the machine's in. (Which I had no problem with) Approx a week later he called and told me the receiver was ready to go and the computer would be about $500 to fix. I went down to today to get the receiver and give them the OK to fix the computer, when I got there, I was surprised to see that they had done nothing with the receiver but claimed there was no problem, I was told that I had faulty speakers. I again explained as I had before, that it had to be in the control knob that my speakers were fine, I then asked why he hadn't cleaned the inside of it as we had discussed when I dropped it off. He stated that he blew it out and that was all it needed, that the dirt that was dried in wouldn't hurt anything so he didn't pull it apart and brush it down as he told me he would when I left it. I will tell you that inside of the machine looked exactly the same as when I dropped it off , because I had blown the loose dust out myself before I took it down there. He was well aware that the inside needed to be brushed down when he took it in. And that I wanted that done. The manager again claimed that dirt in the machine would not cause it to overheat and wear the component's prematurely. I don't know much about electronic, but I now that is not true. But that's what they say, so NO need to clean your machines or have them cleaned for that matter. I then asked him to hook my speakers up to the machine which he did, and right away same problem. He told me once again I had bad speakers. So I asked him to hook up there own speakers, they did and same problem. This is when he told me that I moving the speaker control knob wrong. Which I proved to him was not right, but excuse after excuse and still getting no where on any of it. I got tired of being messed with so I told him to just give me my equipment back and I was done. He then gave me my equipment and wanted me to sign for the work, which I refused to do because it wasn't done (even though it was already paid for and he knew it) He then told me if I took "MY" equipment out of the store without signing what he wanted me to sign he would call the cop's and have me arrested. I didn't want it to escalate to more problems so I put the equipment back on the counter and asked that the owner call me. Stay tuned I will give you an update, when the owner calls me. I have to say this is the first time I have ever written a bad review for any company, but it is justified. I will also say the young man that worked on the COMPUTER was very nice and knowledgeable guy, he knew exactly how to fix it and it would of been fixed right. Read moreAfter reading the reviews on yelp I was very worried about going to this business. However one of my good friends really highly recommend this computer repair store. So I decided to take a change a give them a try. My laptop had been running slow for months and I kept getting this weird message that would pop up on my computer asking me to buy this cleaning software. It just wouldn't go away no matter what I did. So I went into DA Computers they run their diagnostics on it. Got back to me the very next day explaining everything that was wrong with it. The thing I liked most about them explaining everything they didn't talk down to me. It turns out I had a virus on my computer that's what was causing everything. So I give them the go ahead with the repair. I got my computer back the on the 3rd day. I came in an they went over the computer with me. They add security programs to my computer and showed me how to use them too. I felt the service was great I'm not sure what all the post before mine where about but I'm very happy.
The things I always look for when doing business with companies. Is do I see myself going to have work done with them again? Do I feel like I being ripped off or do the things they say actually line up with the problem?
In DA Computers case yes I will do business with them again. They we're very fair in their work and got it done in a timely meaner for me. I would asked that anyone who reads this post would give this company the time of day. You'll be very happy you did.

Read moreMy second visit here and I should have listened to myself the first time. Nice, informative, service with a smile, but these guys got their hands in your pocket the whole time. Overpriced. Paid for diagnosis $35.00 (no problem/reasonable) even before the diagnosis was over, the owner was trying to upsell me on a new solid state drive without the diagnosis being done that my hard drive was probably the problem, which it wasn't after the diagnosis. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. Smooth and shifty with a smile on his face the whole time. I received the quote with the solid state drive and all of the supposed labor of taking my operating system off and downloading all my files from which I found out can be done in about 3 hours out the door everything total over $500. Walked out with my laptop in my hand and took my business somewhere else. New tech ended up with installing new solid state hard drive with the same capacity, Win 10 operating system reloaded with all files taken from the old computer over to the new operating system $300 out the door.
