The FIX - Phone Repair, Tablet Repair and Accessories — Attraction in Palm Springs

I had the BEST experience here because of John. He made my YEAR. He is originally from the Palm Springs location but he was here temporarily..so you bet I will be writing a great review for his other location and the location he suggested.

The story: I was watching YouTube and bam! An iPhone restore screen pops up. I look online and try everything, and nothing. I called Apple support and they referred me to genius. Booked an appointment and they said everything I have will be wiped out and I can’t get anything back. I had some important deadlines and needed info (that was backed up). They told me that it would cost $$$ for data retrieval and it would be from a 3rd party. One rep recommended me to possibly open up the phone at the phone repair store (which is like 3 stores down from Apple). This is the best help I received from here.

Popped over to this store, he was able to open it up for me and even helped me explain to the Apple store what was happening. It was the furthest we were able to get but my phone wasn’t restoring. He suggested a place in Palm Springs to me called Repair Lab. He called them and asked about my specific situation and referred me. EVERYONE, if you need data retrieval, this is the place to send your business. They are the kindest, the price is unbeatable, and it’s so worth sending over. I’m sending my phone from LA and I will be sending my business to them from now on.

I stopped by The Fix a couple months ago when it was a kiosk in the middle of the Westfield Town Center to ask the technician if he could replace the battery in my Google Pixel 3XL (a lot of repair places won’t touch them because they’re notoriously difficult to repair). The gentleman said yes, he could do it (he also radiated intelligence, which was comforting). Flash forward to this week… the battery life on my phone had diminished precipitously, so went back to look for the kiosk… gone! But lucky me, they’ve now moved into a big and shiny new storefront, with lots of accessories, etc. The same fellow, Ryan, was there, fortunately, and he ordered the battery (Pixels aren’t that popular, so most places don’t keep parts in stock). I went back today, and Ryan did the work and returned my phone in like-new condition.

When you consider the cost of a high-end cell phone — that even after 2.5 years has great specs — why not spring for a replacement battery and extend its life? The Fix is a competent, helpful, and affordable repair service to keep your...

bought an item that was 6 dollars and they charged me way over that when i said how much is it i had a 20 in my hand and he looked at my hand saw the 20 and said it’s 20 dollars i said ok? bought it searched up the price like 5 mins later and saw it for 6.99 he just scammed me and had attitude don’t go here over priced for no reason and if you do buy something don’t pull your cash out and ask before so they won’t charge you an outrageous amount. waste of money

Update: they said the price is in the back it was not in the back at all i checked and everything only sticker i found was the phone model and that’s it i have a witness as well and they also saw how they paused to look at my hand when i asked how much and they said 20 because i had a 20 in my hand the image shown is the same glass and the one i got was 1 pair only and it was “20” dollars i know it was not 20 dollars for 1 generic screen protector that you can probably buy for less than 6.99 don’t go here and pull out any bills and ask the price before paying so you won’t...
