I was at Palmerton St. Luke's for Lab work this morning. Of course, I had to "SIGN IN" on the kiosk!!!!! WHY? You have two and three receptionists sitting there asking the same questions I just answered on the kiosk. Next, there are times I am there and elderly people do not know how to use these stupid things. They are computer and cell phone illiterate. And their response when I help them is, "I'm so sorry I had to bother you for help. I feel so stupid when I come here!" Why are we making our elderly people feel this way. I am 72 years old and although I am savvy enough to find my way around a computer or cell phone, I know I am slowly falling behind due to the rapid pace technology is advancing. And it won't be long, I will be one of these sweet old folks. Please, do away with these darn kiosks and give our elderly and those who don't have these fangdangos, an opportunity to come to the doctors and not be made to feel this way. This isn't necessary. Especially in a small town. I think it's just awful. And the worst part about it, they go then and sit down with the receptionist and are asked the same darn things. ...
Read moreThey are the absolute worst occupational medicine office I have ever gone to. I was told by the woman that saw me that she couldn't make a decision and I had to see the Doctor Jusinski. She knew it was for abuse and a mental injury so she told me to gather all my evidence to go over it with the Doctor. So I went back to see Dr Jusinski with about 100 pages of evidence. Within the first 10 minutes he told me he couldn't help me as it had to be a physical injury and not a mental one. Not only does he not know what he's talking about because I was told by my union you can be on worker's comp for a mental injury caused by the job, I was completely lied to by his staff who told me he needed to see my evidence. He didn't look through anything. I warned his office before leaving that day about billing me for that visit since I was lied to. Six months later they billed my insurance over $3,000. Now I'm filing medical malpractice complaints with the state health department and Attorney General against this...
Read moreThe front staff and nurse were awesome. I would give them 5 stars The practitioner who saw my daughter completely misdiagnosed her. My daughter woke in the middle of the night with an urgent feeling to urinate. This went on all night. Each time she went to the bathroom she could barely pee. In the morning she saw a small amount of blood in her urine and then the sensation completely stopped. And never came back. They gave her a urine test that came back negative. The NP told her she had a UTI and prescribed a strong antibiotic. She also saw a small amount of protein in her urine. I’m not a doctor however those symptoms screamed kidney stone. 3 days after she saw the NP The lab UTI test came back negative. Not a word from them. They would have left her on the meds even though she did not have a UTi and she probably would have actually developed one from the meds. Went to see her GP. It was a kidney stone. Completely careless...
