I went to visit The Anderson to see an event that was executed by Laniesha Brown, I was simply floored at how welcoming the space was to me. The workers at the front have a genuine smile whenever they see people coming & greet them warmly. The security is always around watching the art & are not vulgar or ridiculous in their protection of it. The events are always well catered & Laniesha does an excellent job of keeping the events flowing fluidly.
The art itself is quite stunning whenever they receive works from international artists or artists of color they always are quite moving pieces. The curation is brilliant at times & I feel a good sense of flow as I move through the space. Works ranging the entire nation, from California to Connecticut, with thought out histories to accompany each, sometimes with an interesting placement. I enjoy my time here.
I hope to be able to experience more events at this incredible space, Laniesha puts on...
Read moreWe spontaneously came to this museum on a Saturday afternoon. The entrance is free, the place was not crowded. The staff registered us to get the tickets and instructed how to proceed in the museum.
The museum is rather small - you will spend here at most 2-3 hours. The building is newly built, overall very nice architecture, spacious and full of light entrance, the main exhibition is on the second floor.
The collection of paintings is rather small, but some items are very notable.
The place also has an interactive room/library where you can read magazines and books about art and paint something yourself
I definitely can recommend visiting this place, you will spend some...

The museum offers an impressive range of modern art, complemented by a beautiful Asian collection featuring works from the Ming Dynasty. Whether you’re an art student, a casual visitor, or someone just looking to spend a peaceful afternoon surrounded by creativity, this museum is absolutely...
