This is a very beautiful church with breathtaking views. It reminds me a lot of the Hearst Castle. But more importantly, Pastor Rick and the church staff, especially the Director of Communications, Anne Smith are all so amazing!
Pastor Rick’s sermons resonate within you and has a unique way of delivering the teachings/readings in the Bible very well. I love how much he includes and engages the kids during worship. I can’t wait when my baby grows old enough to understand and really participate in the kids’ activities. His sense of humor is a bonus too! My family and I look forward to Sundays to attend service!
The Director of Communications, Anne Smith has been such a reliable, efficient and thoughtful person to connect and work with! She makes sure your questions and concerns are addressed while still accommodating if there’s anything more that she can assist you with up to the last minute.
We also met with the Sunday school teachers Ms. Allie and Ms. Shannon who are both so kind, approachable and great with kids!
This church is a sanctuary, a peaceful and serene place of worship. It’s a sacred place to get connected with Christ, re-connect or start, “ wherever you are on your journey of faith”, as they say. 🤍
Thank you Pastor Rick, Anne, and the rest of the church staff who make sure the church is working like a well-oiled...
Read moreI attended a wedding here, and it was absolutely gorgeous. There was a private trail leading to the ocean and a fascinating cave. They allowed us to rehearse the ceremony the day before, which was very convenient. However, the experience was marred by random visitors dropping by and walking through our photos, as the venue seemed to be open to the public without any signs indicating a wedding was in progress. It would have been much better if they had blocked off certain areas during the ceremony to prevent tourists in flip-flops from walking by and talking near the open windows while vows were being exchanged. I understand that people want to visit the church, and they have every right to do so, but when such a significant amount of money is paid, there should be signs or specific hours posted to inform visitors to avoid certain areas during...
Read moreMy couple was supposed to get married at Wayfarer Chapel, but it closed a few weeks before their wedding. We are so happy when Neighborhood Church was available. First thing, it is absolutely gorgeous, so beautiful that I really felt like I was lucky to even be on the premises. Setta, The church coordinator, was lovely to work with, too, which I always appreciate as a coordinator. A note: Their wedding time blocks are four hours , so we could only begin set up at 130am, and had to be off-premises at 2:30, before the next couple came in. Setta was very helpful with suggestions and checking before the wedding day, and on site. If you want a drop-dead beautiful ceremony venue that your guests will remember forever, this is definitely the place!
