I recently ran into a serious issue with my gaming laptop. While I had tried a significant amount of diagnosis and troubleshooting myself, I reached a point where I needed a professional to look at my computer. I was able to schedule a time to meet with Chris at South Bay Tech Gurus, who listened attentively to my previous attempts at correcting the issue and suggested possible issues that I hadn't considered. He then took the time to work his way into the computer to attempt to diagnose the problem. After attempting a couple of things that did not correct the issue, he was honest and upfront with me about the cost of further attempts at repairs along with the probability that they would succeed and what the cost of new hardware would be if that turned out to be the issue. Overall, I felt that Chris acted very professionally and sincerely wanted to do his best to solve the problem while considering my budget. If I ever run into a tech issue again that I can't solve, I will be reaching out to Chris and South...

Chris is super helpful, and a really great guy! He got my damaged laptop back to me in basically just 1 business day, and was extremely conscientious about my hardware. I highly recommend him for any tech problems!

Google is asking me a year later if it's changed; the Manhattan Beach mini-mall that he was in before was demolished at some point in the 2nd half of 2022, so he moved to a new office building in nearby Redondo that's honestly a bit of a pain. There's something like 2 parking spaces for visitors/clients of the entire complex (at least 2 other customer facing businesses), the teensy lot is a minor challenge to manuever/come and go, and there's not much street parking on PCH. I would perhaps recommend on nearby cross-streets Knob Hill or Topaz and walking the half...
