Roessler Point is a geographical landmark as well as a point of interest, giving reference by the Roessler name to the first mayor of Palos Verdes Estates, Hans Frederick Bernard Roessler, or Fred, as he liked to be known as. From Palos Verdes Drive West, at the 4 way stop, head north to Via Corta, thru Via Almar and right at Via Arroyo to the parking lot. From there itās possible to access the gazebo, paved beach trail, workout equipment, sports field and natural trails. Thereās also a waterfall with runoff from the creek. Itās not so spectacular, tho interesting with the sights and sounds of the area! For beachgoers, the available stretch of beach is much less crowded than the beaches to the north.
