It also has soccer fields and a large open venue for outdoor concerts or other public events. There is a pool but it has a fee for entry. Inside has a kiddie pool (very shallow) with obsticals and a slightly deeper section with a slide. There are grass and concrete open and cover areas. There is also a concession stand, lockers, showers restrooms and changing areas. The larger pool has a diving board with a 12' section and lanes for lap swimming. External to the pool but right beside it is a brand new kids playground with a an enclosed tiny for area on turf and what looks like foam noodles? Adjacent to the play grounds is a covered picnic/ BBQ grill area. It is open but can be reserved for parties. This female has been harassing people who come to the parks (Arron Bessant Park and Frank Brown Park) who seem to be homeless. Her motive for driving homeless people out of the parks... Well, quite frankly, she's become popular because of all the free concerts. But this has been going on way before the free concerts at Aaron Bessant Park. This lady is short with white hair and usually travels around with her husband and dog in a golf cart. On Thursday, August 17th she came into the park and saw me napping by the trees, called the police as a concerned citizen that I'm lying in the park but then a K9 unit comes and the guy is very aggressive and acts like I'm hiding something. I have never been so angry in my life. This woman should lose her job. This is discrimination and against our civil rights.
