If you love Sonoran Desert native plants (not just AZ Sonoran, I'm talking Baja, Cali, Sonora, all of it), get up and drag yourself down here. THEY HAVE THREE SMOKETREES (this is big). IT'S ALL NATIVE PLANTS. I was so THRILLED when I realized. I have lived in PV for almost 8 years, and I never went, but going today was a DREAM. Just native plants for days. TWO BOOJUMS (huge deal actually). I don't know about locals who aren't really into their native ecosystem, but to anyone who appriciates such blessed things, you will love this place.
