The Collins is a wonderful place to experience the culture and talent of our community. The building itself is a historical landmark beautifully decorated with crown molding throughout. The shows are very reasonably priced and are almost always local talent. Concessions are also cheap, so a night out at the Collins with family is very economical. Beautiful old theater....comfortable seating. Tonight we came for Paul Thorn. We have seen Paul several times at other venues. The sound tonight was horrible. Muffled mics, couldnt understand words.....just plain disappointing! Felt bad for the first two acts because the sound was even worse then!! Need different...
