Tactical Escape 101- Stevens Point Escape Room — Attraction in Park Ridge

I have done escape rooms in Eau Claire before, but last night was my first time at the Steven's point location. We were a group of 6 and 2 members of our party had a misunderstanding and were going to be late. I called and spoke with our game master Josh, he couldn't have been any more professional and kind. He said not to worry and it all worked out on their end, we made a replan for a later start time. The last 2 members of our party arrived and Josh was so patient and explained the rules once again to the group members who were late. We went through our escape room and it ended up being about 7 minutes over and the next group started at 7pm, and they had to reset the room. Josh was so great in ensuring we got the full experience and was so amazing to us even though it was our mix up. On my way out I went to the group that was waiting and apologized on our part and made it clear it was not the fault of Josh or the business. That group was all smiles and said not to worry, they didn't mind at all. I really wanted to brag up Josh once again to say that the world needs more kind people such as him. He could have totally been a jerk to us and it would have been deserving because of the mix up on our end. But he wasn't, he was so kind, so accommodating and never once made me feel like a punk because of the mix up. I will absolutely be back for other escape rooms. We had so much fun doing the Kraken room! Was definitely challenging (and especially since this was most of our second escape room ever, and first time for some of us!) We got out with 6 minutes to spare and asked our great game master for help 6 times. There were 6 of us which felt like a great number for this room. Could have been done with 4-10 but 6 was a great number so everyone was working on a piece of the puzzle individually or with a partner. We had a corporate team building event at this location for 10 people. Most of us had never done an escape room before, our gamemasters Josh and Lynx were awesome at giving clues, supporting or decisions, and keeping us thinking as we worked in teams to solve the puzzles in the Paranormal and the Dollz rooms. In the end the group in the Paranormal room was able to escape, but the group in the Dollz room was not so lucky. A great bonding experience for co-workers was had by all.
