For over 9 years, I have been fan No.1 of this park. We used to live in minutes away, and I came here almost every week with my step-children. Now, I don't get to see it often, but I still cherish every memory. Two awesome and safe play grounds plus splash area, a huge area to run, walk or just to enjoy the sea, you can fish, there is also a boat ramp ( we used many times as well), lots of parking space, there is a spot for parties that is covered plus gated for the guest. Another open area with roof many tabke and chairs ( picnic area). Clean restrooms for the number of people visiting the area. This is NOT a dog park, but it is dog friendly, so please bring a dog that it is friendly with kids. Remember, this is a KIDS playground, and you must keep it safe for them. There are so many different things to do at this park. I truly enjoyed it. I hope all the people locals or new visitors keep an eye, clean after they leave, and protect all the play grounds. Report and old equipment so the city can provide a new one or fixed but must of all, please use it correctly, it is the kind of place you want to keep on coming and your kids will enjoy so very much just like we have for so many years. This picture is from 2024. Thanks, City of Clear Lake- Bay Area, for creating this amazing park.

First, the water side. It's almost always clean. It has the most expansive playground in the area. Tons of birds. Water embankment is made of concrete, no guards, so be careful with the little ones who love to jump into the water. There is also a really nice water park for kids with shade for parents, also the best in the area. On this side are two huge fishing piers. One on the opposite side of the west parking lot (the big lot), and another closer to the small parking lot. Both lots have good handicap parking, although limited. Lastly, the party areas are legit. Open air brick pavilions with BBQ pits, trash cans, picnic benches, etc. This is the area that can get a little... trashy, like literally trash gets blown around, not even anyone's fault. There's also a gazebo on a small hill that's a favorite for kids parties. Music is kept low, except when they've clearly paid to rent the area.

Love the improvements. New sidewalks, solar lights on the walking path. New kayak launch. Thank you for replacing the cover over the workout equipment as well. Lots more improvements on the bay side of the park as well. Playground equipment and splash pad. Fishing Pier boat launch and large parking area in the boat launch section. When you visit , please leave it clean, lots of little people love their time there. Very well maintained and monitored, please help keep it this way. Will continue to enjoy this beautiful park daylight to dark.

Loved it. There are so many places where kids can just blow off steam, and just as many where you can relax by the coast. The breeze from the lake makes summer days there more bearable and there's a long dock where you can walk out onto the lake, where you can fish or just enjoy the view. The park is entirely family and pet friendly, and the sunsets there are amazing. Your kids will also really enjoy feeding the little ducks along the coastline too. My family enjoyed part of summer vacation there. We will be back!

We love this park so much! It is a drive from us but we love the beautiful view of the bay and how you have the splash pad and a few different playgrounds to play on. My kids always have the most fun here. I also really love that the splash pad has shaded seating so the parents won’t melt watching their kiddos play. It is very peaceful. There is a boat dock and plenty of benches to have a nice picnic, some are even covered by gazebos! Highly recommend checking it out. It’s always nice and clean too.
