Summary: Very unprofessional and deceitful, both in person and the way they run their business, which is a shame because they do have beautiful spaces. But, once everything is paid, it is difficult to get a hold of anyone, the things promised prior to signing the contract are not the same as when planning the wedding, and they make many “rules” to where it is difficult to use outside vendors or have things done for your event to your liking. The faults became clear only after signing the contract, so add EVERYTHING (example, choosing décor from their other venues) to the contract BEFORE signing, if you decide to sign. See details below. It is apparent they are still in business because locals will pay to have their events. Pros: 1) Elegant décor overall, very pretty and spacious; 2) Package options are convenient; 3) Facilitator during the actual event was very nice and helpful; and 4) Not expensive overall but… Cons: 1) Unless it is about making payment, it is very difficult to get a hold of someone regarding event details (before and after COVID); 2) The extra date change cost us our deposit, regardless if we were moving the date to pandemic reasons (i.e. prioritizing health); 3) I was told several times, for different things about the event, that they would call me back and they almost never did; 4) we found out close to the wedding (manteleria appointment) that the ones who signed the contract with us completely lied about availability/variety of décor, and I was unable to select any other floral or bride+groom seats (just a few options for centerpieces with mostly same flowers); 5) while it’s understandable for the price of food plates to go up during the pandemic, it more than doubled price for most choices; 6) we had a credit to use for the wedding but it came time to use it, they did not allow it to use it for anything except 2-3 overpriced items (you can find a list of these at their open houses); 7) when I tried to get a hold of a manager a month before the wedding, they said they were unavailable, and when asked when might be good time to call on any day they said they could...
Read moreUnfortunately, we had serious issues with the wedding venue management and came to the conclusion that we cannot have our wedding reception there due to a lack of customer care. Please read everything carefully and then decide to work with them.
We booked the date of our wedding reception and made arrangements months ago with the place. Since we had our wedding venue booked and paid, we booked everything else (including our honeymoon), sent out invitations, and made table wear arrangements even with the flowers.
Apparently the previous management (that we had agreements with) sold the place to a new management team. For some odd reason, both managements unprofessionally did not communicate clearly on bookings they had for the venue. They double booked and told us we could no longer have our wedding there even though we legally booked the venue first.
We were shocked when they refunded us for the booking. I called the new management several times, explained the whole situation, and pleaded with them to reconsider. Their organizational problems, lack of management skills, and unprofessional behavior caused us a huge last minute problem that leaves us stranded without a wedding venue anymore.
With the amount of time left until the wedding, it’s literally impossible for us to find a venue we want that can accommodate 350 guests. We are heart broken and disappointed.
The new management completely refused to help us even though the fault is on their hands. Our lovely guests simply wanted to be a part of one of the most important days of our lives. We have guests coming from all over the country and even overseas. Everything was planned and arranged according to the dates for the venue. Our flowers, DJ, honeymoon, even the plates were ready and picked with other organizers.
New arrangements will cost a lot more and will be so hard for everything. We hope this review...
Read moreThe reception itself was beautiful but the stuff you have to put up with before and after the event is horrible. We booked the venue before it even opened last year. We kept in contact with them to make sure we had Bella and every time they reassured us that we did. Well, the week of the wedding, we show up at rehearsal and we are told we’re in Grace. Note we had booked over 14 months in advance and the couple who was given our room had only booked 3 months prior to the wedding date. So is that fair? No, of course not. We did everything on our part and tried our best to communicate with them the months leading up to our wedding, but there was a lack of communication between them and important things were “missed.” They gave us upgrades as a “sorry we f* up,” which were cool, but that’s not the point. The point is, if you’re going to run a business, you need to be organized and communicate with everyone involved.
And to add to the experience, the day of the wedding they took the garter(that my mom made) from the person who won it to give it to the bride in the other room. I know this happened because the other bride confirmed that they brought it over to her side. They told her that I let her borrow it...but I didn’t even realize this happened because they took it without my consent. You see the lying and manipulation? Ridiculous. They also took water bottles away from guests because they had to pay for them, even when we had paid money for the bar credit...Don’t get me wrong, our wedding was beautiful, but you have to put up with a lot of things with the people who run it so it’s a...
