The Kolache Shoppe — Restaurant in Pasadena

I grew up on these kolaches. I remember when my mom would take me to school st.pius v. She would stop here because I loved the SWEET kolaches. I am 51 years old now. I drove from Houston to come get kolaches. The Lady who helped me was wonderful , sweet. The MINI kolaches were terrible. It was a Hawaiian roll with a mini sausage. It had no flavor. Just a sausage in a Hawaiian roll. I got home to eat and was terribly disappointed. And I mean Terribly. I remember the sweet taste and you enjoyed every bite. Now, 👎 Too dry, bland . I used to get breakfast from this location many years ago .I decided to go back to that side of town since I moved and I really enjoyed the kolaches they USE to make..I honestly did not try any of the food I purchased. I threw the food away as soon as I left.The reason was this lady that was assisting getting the order was wearing gloves .The entire time she was wearing gloves. When she touched the food when she opened the register and counted our money and handed it back to us. The lady never changed the gloves. That is cross contamination and is gross. I have no idea what else she touched....

Horrible service and food. Contacted manager to inform kolaches were old and cold. However I was told that they were made fresh every morning there’s no way you can have hard bread along with shriveled up Hard smoke sausages. I’m sorry that’s ridiculous. and was told to bring them back, I work downtown and there’s no way that I can bring them back they were for meeting. My coworkers look at them like what in...
