Please seek alternative carpet installation service if you're contemplating using ACS. About a month ago, we went through Home Depot (they sub-contract to ACS for install) to choose and install carpeting. The beginning was really easy and we were excited to get the plush carpeting and high quality padding installed in our basement. Everything went downhill from the point of carpet selection. The carpet install crew came on time and on the date we agreed on with Home Depot. Only one of the installers spoke half-decent English, all 4 of the others did not speak English. It was hard to understand the woman who spoke for the crew, but we weren't too concerned about it. They were working for about 5 hours, barely any communication to us, and just as they were ready to leave we noticed the baseboards and parts of our wall were nicked. We became more concerned at this point, but the crew spokesperson assured us they would come back to fix them. THIS is where it all turned into a nightmare. While we were waiting for them to return, we began to further investigate the install job. We discovered frayed seams, loose seams, miscut seams, tack strips further than an inch from the baseboard, bubbles in the carpet, more chunks taken out of our baseboards, stains, it was absolutely shocking. We were speechless from the damage and improper installation. Around 8:00pm one crew member arrived to attempt fixing the baseboards. We did not want ANYONE from the crew to come back into our house after leaving it how they did. My wife told the crew leader we were not home, and they left. Immediately the next morning, we went into Home Depot to work out a plan on what needed fixed and how it would be fixed. They had ACS send out their "regional manager" a few days later to inspect the installation. My god, he was the most unprofessional and disrespectful "manager" I have ever spoken to. Despite our attempt to explain what was wrong, he sided with the prior install crew excusing their poor job as "they were having a bad day". He also stated multiple times that "you are not listening to me" and seemed like he was in a total rush to leave. He also spoke to my wife in a hostile fashion, talking down to the both of us. He lost his temper, shouted "i am done with you!" and slammed our basement door on the way out. Professional class act, right? Unbelievable. This is where we are now, back in contact with the home depot although we have contacted a reputable carpeting repair expert. Hopefully home depot will cover their cost for the fix. Our experience was horrible with ACS, i would never recommend their services to anyone. Please look elsewhere. I hope this review doesn't get lost with all the others, it speaks waves of unprofessional behavior...

The installers are disrespectful to people's property. I paid for an installation through Home Depot for outdoor carpeting. That was in May. It was installed on August 5th. i was not able to see the completed job until Friday, the following day. The install is atrocious. And not only did they do a horrible job on the install, they got glue on my vinyl railing, j-channel, post and block wall. I had 2 appointments for someone to come out and look at it so we can point all of the issues with the install. The on time they were to call me 1/2 hour before they arrived so I can have someone there. They did not even do that. They called when they were standing in front of the property. I called the person that gave up half a day to sit around waiting for them and had them go down. I called back to the person that was at the property and said they would be down 20-30 minutes and they said they could not wait. I called my person back and said nevermind. Then about a half an hour later I received another call and they said they could go down and meet and I said that I couldn't because my person went about their business and I am tired of inconveniencing people for them. Mind you, my carpet install had been scheduled about 3 times before it was actually installed. One time the install was scheduled 8-12, i believe, and they call me the morning of to cancel. Their installer had something else to do. The first time was around August 12th. They were to come out again today, more than a month later, nothing. They said they were going to fix the carpet. There is no fixing this carpet. They said they were going to have the carpet replaced. I have heard nothing from them for over 2 weeks, Home Depot either. Fair warning do not get any flooring installed by Home Depot because this is the only company they have to install flooring. They need to rethink the way they do things. I use Home Depot for EVERYTHING. I do not go to Lowes but after this experience I may just go across the highway and use Lowes. i have rentals and bought all my paint, flooring, light fixtures, refrigerators, stoves, everything. But I will be...

I have had workers in and out of my home consistently over 20 years on various home remodeling projects. One of our last things to do was put a show stopping floor down on a huge covered patio. There are very few materials you can go with. After doing my own research, porcelain pavers was the best product to use on a covered outdoor patio. I will start with this, not one flooring’s place I called knew or wasn’t able to do this. So I went to Home Depot. I worked with Robert on this for weeks. He was so amazing. Between the 2 of us and our constant correspondences, we were able to get this project started. This was a very large, expensive project and a lot of extra attention and supplies were needed to make sure this was done right. The installation team, starting with calls prior to the work starting were also amazing. Everyone involved wanted to make sure this got done correctly and that we had the right supplies and the best guys on the job. The 2 installers…. I have never in over a decade saw 2 men work harder, cleaner, efficiently and pristinely!!!!! They seemed to actually care about making me happy and seemed to take great pride in their work. Which I can assure you, no longer seems to exist anywhere, in any home project or workplace or service. I want to hire them to redo all of the lousy home improvements that people have done for me over the years! We desperately need more young men and women like this in all areas of business. Hard work ethic and pride in a beautiful finished product. Well done from begin to end!!! (Also Home Depots visualizer tool was very helpful in choosing a paver color that I could not...
