Passaic Public Library — Attraction in Passaic

As much as I love the library and some staff, some are extremely busy on their phones and make it extremely difficult to check out books. Most times I reserve my books online for pickup and when I go pick them up only the name is asked, they dont even confirm the person picking up is the actual person on the account (same for dropoff, which is fine). On the other hand while dropping off books, I decided to grab a few to check out. They received my books back and as soon as I pulled out my state licensed ID proving im the person on file they gave me excuse after excuse to check out the new books. What? Why? We can't use state issued ID to confirm identity (okayy, ive done this before, hence the reason I'm doing it again), it's a paterson address (yes, I'm aware of that, as long as I'm passaic county I'm able to use this library and you can confirm that with my history). I gave up after 3 times and left the books on their counter to return to shelves! Get off your phones when there's patrons there! No patrons,...

Passaic is probably one of the few, if not the only Public library in NJ that has limited hours and which people are limited to 1 hour at a time. I understand COVID is still a issue, but as taxpayers, residents of Passaic should have the right to utilize the library without being limited to a hour. Also a lot of people get off at work after 5, which is a inconvenience for parents and families who really want to spend time studying and reading in a quiet place. Because of the 1 hour restriction, residents cannot even go to their own library to sit down and study. Newark, which has a bigger population, has no such restriction and their hours are nothing like Passaic. If the city can do parades, indoor events for Politicians and other events where people don’t social distance, than I don’t know why the library can’t revert back to...

i felt this library are so good but that great experience with other relationship but not prepare than Clifton public library because the people are staff there are not great relationship is not too far from the park to workout there but is five minute a walk but the schedule is my daily routine my dream 11 patrol unit but i have a dream to become a police officer but i am doing physical fitness for the patrol unit but i am doing the Passaic Public Library but there very good people also there make there own friendship so i felt comfortable to be here this library there worker are very well respect and very cool person don't complain with them also i went to park there very friendly people at the park also downtown Passaic there are difference people but i don't take it as friendly but i take as friendly from the...
