Have never shopped here before, and never will go back.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL! And returns are NOT ALLOWED.
I am going to Ryco in Lincoln for now on. Customer service at Lorraines is ok to poor (I was upstairs poking around, and heard one of the ladies behind the counter yelling at a customer to wait). At Ryco the girls are fabulous, friendly, and fun! :o) I work in customer service and have for many many years (I am manage 8-10 employees a day), and have never written a review, but today was not a good experience at Lorraine's. I got charged $1.99 a yard that is $.85 a yard at Ryco. I went to return the item back to Lorraine and they lady refused to take it back, and said there are signs all over the store saying the sales are final. I apologized to her, and said I have never shopped here, and did not know the return policy. She said it was on the receipt (which it was, on the 2nd receipt and the no return policy was hidden by the staple).

Larger fancier and whole pieces are folded or hung on racks for prices by the piece. Great to rummage around and get a feeling for the weight and texture and colors of your materials and do some free-form design decisions...

I found some beautiful yellow fabric with green leaves, which I intend to turn into a skirt, and what can only be described as "some pretty cool doodads" for spicing up a pair of leggings I bought at Savers. There's also loads of different colored thread and zippers for any sewing projects, and I love the sign outside that says "all are welcome here". If you're looking for something for your next sewing project, I'd say this is a good...
