In a word...WOW!!!
This place is absolutely awesome! Took the family here and we had an absolute blast! Best part of all? IT'S ONLY $10 BUCKS A PERSON TO PLAY ALL DAY!!! I couldn't believe it! We go to D&Bs and spend $250 playing there to win $10 worth of trinket junk and they have no pinball machines. Here, you pay $10 a person and all the machines are set to free play. No quarters needed! Play as much as you want for as long as you want! And they have so many cool and amazing video games and pinball machines too. We were blown away!
They have a whole embankment of sit down video driving games that are linked together so you can race against your family and friends. So much fun!
They have a bank of skee ball machines, a basketball shot machine, an air hockey table, old school, stand up video shooting games, video game systems you can play like XBOX and PlayStation and so many other things to do and see I can't even rememeber it all! It was overwhelming and awesome! They even have a party room you can use for functions and parties. How awesome is that!?
The best part? They have a massive collection of incredible pinball machines! No one has pinball machines any more! There had to be about 100 pins in there and they're from all eras too. It was so cool to see and play these beautiful machines from the 40s through the 80s, along with the machines I love and grew up with as a kid from the 90s along with today's newer pinball machines.
If you're anywhere near them (we drove from an hour away and it was totally worth it) and looking for an awesome day of good, clean fun with your family or with the kids and their friends, you simply have to go check this place out. Everyone will have the most amazing time and you'll stay and play all day for only $10 bucks a person. It's the most fun you can have for such a low price anywhere!
Thank you to everyone who wrote a review to this place. They helped me make the decision to make the drive out there and we are so glad we did. That's why I had to write a review. I hope that it encourages others to go there and check out this amazingly fun place. Just like me and my family, you'll be so...
Read moreWhat started as a place to kill some time on my drive back from vacation turned into 7 hours of games for $10. You won't beat that price per game anywhere. I loved how they not only had pinball but even other arcades including the rare 8 person x-men. If your into racing they have plenty of those most hooked up to play against each other. Had to have been 4 or 5 different racing games hooked up. Some solo and plenty for groups. Then when your talking pinball they had to have over 100 working machines. Not just some fancy new ones we're talking prototypes and ones dating back to the 50's there. Those are just what you can play as they are a musem and restoration so yes there's older or games not fully working. That's where it can be even more fun as the owners are amazing and will talk and give you basics about the machines and you can really see the amount of work needed to keep these machines going. Most volunteers who help work on the machines are very nice and will also help and explain in basic what's going on while fixing the machines. A great way to learn and see just how much work it is. It's neat seeing the parts area and half taken apart games where you can see the amazing detail that was put into them when they were made years ago. So with most games being from the 90's or earlier your going to find most before they got here didn't get the best treatment in life. The work they are doing is amazing and games are being repaired daily as 2 were repaired that day and working when I left. Everything you go back there's bound to be a new one up and running to keep things new and fresh. I will 100% be back and with far more friends next time as this place is amazing to learn and...
Read moreOccasionally, you'll find a business or shop that's open because of one or two people. Those shop owners are passionate, hardworking, and it shows through the sheer volume of whatever product they are producing or supplying. In this case, the supply is a particular kind of game called pinball. Though it's not limited to that.
The entrance to the museum serves only as a door. The entrance has an almost holy feel, spartan yet sacred, like when you walk through it you'll be transported to a scene in "Fight Club." Upon entering, I was welcomed by a gentleman elbow deep in the guts of a pinball machine. $10 was all it took to enter this hallowed hall of mechanical gamery.
There were plenty of pinball machines, and also a spattering of functional arcade games. In a separate room there were skiball machines and a ping pong table. You could spend plenty of time here if you wanted to, and it could be a fairly physical day, too.
The museum aspect should really push the "look, but don't touch" approach. There were wooden pinball machines that were in need of serious care and maintenance. To see these legacy models and understand how old this kind of game is, it is wonderful. Those who are mechanically inclined should definitely take time to observe the craft work.
Go. And spend time here. It will be...
