What started as a place to kill some time on my drive back from vacation turned into 7 hours of games for $10. You won't beat that price per game anywhere. I loved how they not only had pinball but even other arcades including the rare 8 person x-men. If your into racing they have plenty of those most hooked up to play against each other. Had to have been 4 or 5 different racing games hooked up. Some solo and plenty for groups. Then when your talking pinball they had to have over 100 working machines. Not just some fancy new ones we're talking prototypes and ones dating back to the 50's there. Those are just what you can play as they are a musem and restoration so yes there's older or games not fully working. That's where it can be even more fun as the owners are amazing and will talk and give you basics about the machines and you can really see the amount of work needed to keep these machines going. Most volunteers who help work on the machines are very nice and will also help and explain in basic what's going on while fixing the machines. A great way to learn and see just how much work it is. It's neat seeing the parts area and half taken apart games where you can see the amazing detail that was put into them when they were made years ago. So with most games being from the 90's or earlier your going to find most before they got here didn't get the best treatment in life. The work they are doing is amazing and games are being repaired daily as 2 were repaired that day and working when I left. Everything you go back there's bound to be a new one up and running to keep things new and fresh. I will 100% be back and with far more friends next time as this place is amazing to learn and play for hours

Occasionally, you'll find a business or shop that's open because of one or two people. Those shop owners are passionate, hardworking, and it shows through the sheer volume of whatever product they are producing or supplying. In this case, the supply is a particular kind of game called pinball. Though it's not limited to that. The entrance to the museum serves only as a door. The entrance has an almost holy feel, spartan yet sacred, like when you walk through it you'll be transported to a scene in "Fight Club." Upon entering, I was welcomed by a gentleman elbow deep in the guts of a pinball machine. $10 was all it took to enter this hallowed hall of mechanical gamery. There were plenty of pinball machines, and also a spattering of functional arcade games. In a separate room there were skiball machines and a ping pong table. You could spend plenty of time here if you wanted to, and it could be a fairly physical day, too. The museum aspect should really push the "look, but don't touch" approach. There were wooden pinball machines that were in need of serious care and maintenance. To see these legacy models and understand how old this kind of game is, it is wonderful. Those who are mechanically inclined should definitely take time to observe the craft work. Go. And spend time here. It will be treasured moments!

Every year, I take my son on a road trip as a way to familiarize ourselves with other parts of the country and learn about our history using all our senses. As a mother to a young boy who absolutely loves the arts and sciences, we added Electromagnetic Pinball Museum and Restoration as one of our stops along the east coast. This museum turned out to be the highlight of my son's trip (and mine too) ! Mike was instrumental in sharing his profound historical knowledge about the pinball machines. This included (but not limited to) the art and designs, materials used to construct them during each time period, the paint that was used and the technology that was implemented into later designs. We left Rhode Island with full hearts and a greater appreciation for this art form. Mike, thank you for welcoming us into the space and sharing your stories ! All worth the drive from Chicago and hope to do it again in the future. All the best, Patricia, Ace and Alba.

A friend of mine recommended coming to this place to let off a bit of steam. The outside building is brightly colored so you cant miss it, though parking can get a little tight so make sure to carpool! When we entered inside first just looked like a long hallway filled with machines, but when the owner came to introduce himself; we learned it was much more then that! He gave us a tour of the building, showing how much bigger it really was with tooooones of pinball machines. He explained how he started his collection with just a few and it slowly grew into what it was today. There's some really cool old ones from the 70s and more modern ones that were Rick and Morty themed. He also had a few shooting and racecar games. Overall, we had a blast! We stayed for three hours just turning our brains off for a bit. And for just $10 a pop, we will definitely be back!

This place was awesome I most say. It was our first time there. As soon as we walked in we got greeted so kind, friendly, n respectfully. The man explained very little thing 2 us n the gave us a tour around. When I mean I learned things about pin ball machines that I would have never even imagined. 2 see that some of the machines where even signed by famous ppl was cool. I also liked the game room my daughter had a blast in there. These place 2 me has a little bit of everything 4 every1. U don't get no tickets or none of that. But u can buy thing if u like. U pay that 1 amount 4 each person but get 2 play the games 4 free. The best part is u can leave n go back without the worry if u have 2 pay 2 get back in. The only reason y I gave it a 4 is because machines were down n as we were there other machines went down. But I will say they where trying 2 fix them.

Truly a one of a kind, unique place. Mike was so friendly and passionate. You can tell that this place is truly a labor of love. The tour he gave us was incredibly detailed. When he sussed out that we were pretty big fans of pinball, he set up a few tables he normally doesn’t and periodically he would recommend different tables for us to play on. Towards the end of our visit, he even gave us free pins. This place is absolutely massive. When we first arrived, we were the only ones there and we couldn’t believe how many rooms the place had. It just keeps on going and going. We spent about six hours there and there were still so many tables we hadn’t touched. Probably the best $10 I spent in a long time. I know for sure I’ll be coming back next time I’m in the Providence area. If you’ve never been you should absolutely check the place out!
