Sun Factory — Attraction in Peabody

Don’t bother wasting your money at this establishment. There is only one booth available which has cracked glass, missing door handle, and broken door that doesn’t close. Many of the beds have issues whether it’s facial lights don’t work, fans don’t work, timer buttons are broken, and the owner refuses to give you more than four minutes to put any lotion on. I’ve asked the owner before to start the timer late for me and she starred at me with an idiotic look claiming she wouldn’t know when to turn the timer on. The place was empty so she didn’t take my request out of pure laziness not wanting to watch the clock. After going here for years the owner told me “do me a favor and don’t use oil in the salon”. First of all this is not how any owner should address an issue, she was extremely sarcastic and it truly took me a minute to understand because I’ve used oil in her tanning beds for the 3 years I’ve gone here. I told her the oil I have is specific to tanning beds but she claimed it’ll ruin her beds. Funny how I’ve been doing it for years without an issue and she doesn’t even keep up with the Maintenance of the beds in the first place. Finally I had enough with this women’s inconsiderate attitude towards me, I asked to speak to a manager about getting my tanning package refunded, and again I was given a nasty attitude and told “listen I am the owner oil cannot be used here and we do not do refunds ”. If she had treated me with any decency this review wouldn’t have been written and I would’ve gladly stopped using the oil. She tried to come out to my car after this happened to show me an article explaining the oil softens the acrylic beds (let me point out it was an unreliable source) but the damage as already been done. I’m not sure if she was truly trying to rectify the situation but She didn’t apologize for the way she spoke to me, or thank me for supporting her business this entire time. Will not ever...
